I didn't have any issues so no need to contact tech support, so that is why that is not rated. But it was a pretty quick installation and it works as intended and it is as if my car came with it from the factory where I could use my same fobs.'When I was going to go to a dealership to get their version installed (thought it was OEM) but it would required to have a different FOB (fob that only is used for the remote start, still need my OEM fobs) and I didn't want to be carrying two different set of Fobs, so buying this was a no brainer and I basically saved over half the cost.

Had this installed in my 2017 Taco in under 30 minutes. Works great. Only issue is that the truck shuts off the minute a door is opened. Normally, a remote start would only shut off if you try to put the vehicle in gear…

Definitely recommend YouTube for the programming or when to install wires into the controller but very easy to install and use

Easy to install (less than 1/2 hour), must be extremely careful with vehicle plastic products (not to damage), need to use a plastic puller (purchase from amazon). DO NOT use screw driver or another sharp product to pull plastic off. You will damage your car and have to look at it every time driving. Follow on-line instructions and Youtube videos of other installations. Make sure to connect the cables as stated. When cycling the controller box make sure to get the Blue light indicator as stated otherwise will not work. Other than that, a bit expensive for the package but at the end its well worth it, having to compare with Toyota asking over $1500 for replacing the Head unit to access remote start is a JOKE.

..Where i ran in to trouble was syncing the control module to my 2018 Toyota Tacoma.. When syncing, there is ONE CABLE that need be connected to the control module.. Its the black cable with NO LOCK on it. You press the and hold the button, THEN plug in the cable... You will see the lights blink for several seconds, and then you will get a SINGLE BLUE LIGHT, after which you release the button, and hook up the remainder relevant cables. White, red, and blue.. The information WAS in the instructions, but i had to really parse them to get it right. Hope this helps.

This is a plug and play unit that works with the OEM remote. It takes an hour to install, it’s affordable, and it works well. This is the second one that I purchased.I’ve installed other types of remote starters that took hours. This unit can be installed by a person with minimal install skills.When it comes to programming it, read the instructions exactly! Not at all hard if you read first!

Great product! Quality wiring and easy install! Installation in under 30 mins and clear and concise directions. But one thing was missing in my opinion zip ties to manage all the wires that came with the kit. Other than that this remote start kit is great.

Was kinda worried about buying product after reading some reviews, happy I bought it. It work as it should and literally anyone can stall this. Saves you hundreds of dollars by just doing it yourself. Just READ the instructions before installing it, can’t stress this enough.

The product was shipped quickly and well packaged. It is very good value for money and after watching a Tacoma u tube install video I was able to install it in 30mins. I tucked the remote start ecu in between the ecu that the remote start tapped into. The valet mode switch to disable the remote start was left easily available behind the airbag cover panel along with the remote phone start connection. The plastic panels were easily removed with the tools provided in the kit.As noted by another reviewer the long winded process to sign in with all the information required to access their instructions and tech support does not encourage it to be used.There does not appear to be a way to add the the remote phone start at a later date without completing the sign in which put me off from considering it even with the yearly fee waived for the first year.

This was easy to install and took no time hooking it up - get the wires hoked up first. Then only one control wire plug needs to be plugged in. As it says in the book timing is everything and when installing the the control unit Hold the Button Down and install the one plug first and release when it lands on blue, then connect the rest of the plugs. this make it active. After that the rest is easy

Install was super easy, simply remove a few panels under the steering column and just plug and play.No extra fobs to carry around, just hit the lock button three times and it fires up.My only issue is that it shuts down once you open a door (security feature) but I won't drop a star because my understanding is that the Toyota brand does it as well

I personally like the product, however the install paperwork would have been better served as a video with accompanying link. I found an equivalent product by a competitors install video and followed their direction to complete the install.

Easy instructions, quick install, worked first time, product seemed higher quality than another manufacturers I returned on here. Fully satisfied and recommend.
