ACDelco Professional 45D3593 Front Passenger Side Upper Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly , Black

Had to replace upper control arms for an 08 Cadillac Escalade base model with Z55 Auto ride package. These are pretty identical to factory. Fit was perfect. Also these need to be greased after install so make sure you have GM wheel bearing grease and a zerk fitting on your grease gun.*You will definitely want to buy 4 Dorman 13512 Front Upper Suspension Control Arm Bolt* if you plan on doing both sides.Upon removing the old control arms one bolt on each side ended up breaking off, one of them came out decent, and the other one got stuck and had to be cut out. so needless to say you will definitely want to buy these bolts. I also recommend buying some anti-seize so it's easier to get out if you have to do something later.last but not least I would recommend getting new alignment guides if it's in the budget. The old ones can get beat up pretty good upon tear down.

This was easier and lower cost than a ball joint and the tool to remove the old ball joint.

Installed in my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. No major issues installing except the left control arm bolt hit the coil spring when trying to remove. I had to unbolt the lower strut bolts that connect to the lower control arm in order to remove and reinstall the upper control arm. Nothing major but just added to the process of replacing the control arm. The whole process too about 45 minutes.

They fit good but I could not grease them. They would not take grease

My problem was not that the parts are faulty it was simply Chevrolet put out some trucks with aluminum A arms and some with steel and they do not interchange. When I entered my trucks information it said these fit therefore I purchased & installed them ignorant of the difference and trusting Amazon’s listing. Buyer be aware not all parts that say they fit will actually fit... Buying locally and dealing with an actual person could save you money and time.

Highly doubt this is acedelco . Came in a acedelco box, look different from photos and don’t seem to be great quality like acedelco. Fitment wasn’t great had to pry into its slot. Grease boot torn open after 4 days of driving . And I even made sure not to over grease it.

Perfect fit and function for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L 4x4. Grab new essentric bolts while you are at it and save the headache.

This was a direct replacement for my stock upper control arm on my 2008 gmc 1500.Fit perfect. I recommend this item.
