I've had 3 sets of these sleeves for almost 2 years now. I tig weld aluminum in them daily and have washed them in the machine countless times and they still fit tight, elastic is still good and tight on both ends and haven't ripped them or been burned through them yet! I can run a double pass and lay my arm right on the weld and it's not hot at all. Triple pass it starts getting a bit hot through them. For the price I'd say definitely buy them!! I love them enough I've bought 3 pair to rotate out while washing and all 3 pair have held great. I've even had coworkers see mine and order sets and they love them. They're a bit tight on me and hard to pull up at first almost like a compression sock or something but after wearing them a few hours they stretch enough to put on easier but still fit tight! Even after every wash they bounce right back to like new! I've never put them to a real test of cutting but I work with sharp objects and yet to be cut with them on. I'm no bot or paid fake ad. This is just my honest review of a great product. For the money you can't beat them and they're far superior to any other welding sleeves I've worn over the years! A GREAT BUY!!

I work in a kitchen with fryers, ovens and hot pans. These have done the job wonderfully in helping me avoid any burns on my arms. A little warm to wear but the protection has made them worth it.

The material is very thick which is great for cat grooming I’ve been clawed a lot since getting these and no marks but they’re not the best form fitting they’re very baggy like cutting the sleeves off a sweatshirt

Comfortable while welding.

This item is a knitted sleeve. I do not believe these have "kevlar" in them. Totally sending them back. I do not believe these would work around any heat source, including matches or a lighter- forget a hot oven.

They provide basic protection. The weave is coarse, so skin still gets abraded with them on. I work with special needs kids, and pinches, nail scratches, and bites often go through these leaving some damage. It is better than no protection, and better than a long sleeve shirt.They get dirty easily, and the little fibers snag on everything. Velcro is a particular nightmare to deal with.
