Works great, getting replacment parts is a challenge
I was curious to determine how much oil is left after suctioning it out and was surprised that only a couple of drops came out after removing drain plug bolt from oil pan. It does a very good job of extracting nearly every drop of oil from vehicle. Fastening hose to canister is a bit cumbersome, but no leaks. If you don’t plan on using a compressor for pneumatic extraction you only need the manual pump and you’ll save around $20. Ordering replacement parts is a bit of a challenge.

Doesn't Implode Like Other Models
It is so nice to have an oil extractor that doesn't implode when using like our last one did from a different manufacturer. The suction is great and it pulls in 2.5 gallons of liquid in about 30 seconds.

Pre-Use Review - Two annoying issues.
Appears to be built well and does create good suction. One big thing lacking is any graduations on the canister. There are graduations on the internal pump cylinder but those are of absolutely no use what so ever. I think they show well in the picture but they are a bit difficult to read them when the pump is out of the canister and there is certainly no way to read them when its installed. I made my own graduations on the canister by taking off the top and pouring in one quart of water at at time and then labeled it with my PTouch label maker. This was a bit of a pain because you have to remove and reinstall the pump every time since the pump is submerged in the liquid.Second thing is this is advertised as 6L or 1.5 gallons. They did not really falsely advertise because that is what it hold filled completely to the brim with the pump installed. I put 1.5 gallons in it and it was on the edge of overflowing when I put the pump back in. To me, things like this should be advertised at the USABLE capacity. This will not pump out 6L or 1.5Gal, the shut off will stop it a bit after 5qts. For me, I don' this this will be an issue but I do believe it is a bit misleading. Think about it, a 5 Gal gas can can actually hold 5 gallons and not be on the brink of overflowing. This should be able to extract a full 1.5 gallons before it the overfill protection shuts it off.On top of that, it does not have any cap or plug to cap it off when the hose is removed. I know it is not advertised as having one but it sure would be nice. So for this, I'm putting my 3D printer to work to make a plug for the hole/spout.

Excellent Choice
Ive used this for oil changes in my detailing business and have been so impressed, I've had others that were trash but this one is strong, sturdy, easy to use and designed for the work it's putting in. I've used others that were slow but this one is fast made changing oil a breeze. Thank you, great product, highly recommend.

Easy and Simple
Little skeptical, but it worked great. Did not have to pay high price for oil change.

Fantastic purchase!
Much higher quality than expected. Worked awesome. The large nut that threads on to the neck where you insert the extraction hose was initially perplexing. There’s nothing in the manual really about it. Best I can tell is that the. It is used to back the extraction hose loose if it gets stuck by vacuum or something. I hand tightened it down (barely tight), then inserted the extraction hose. The vacuum holds the extraction hose in place, the big nut doesn’t secure it. Worked great!

I hate this thing
I bought one of these months ago to change my oil. I did it once, and sent it back because I thought it was defective. I got a replacement and I went to change my oil today and it did the same thing as the one I sent back. I can't for the life of me get a good connection/seal from the main hose to the reservoir. The nut that's on there doesn't hold it. It just keeps falling off (and making messes). I got one good vacuum seal today for about 20 seconds. It was beautiful, but it didn't last. The rest of the time I had to hold the connection together and pump my arms off. The thing for a compressor was closed and the pressure release valve was plugged. If someone wants to tell me I'm doing something wrong I can only say that the instructions should have been better in that case. The whole thing ends up a mess and hard to clean, and there are no measurements on the reservoir. I'm pretty sure that I left at least a quart of oil in there today. I couldn't do any more. Waste of money.
