My vehicle can breathe!
I purchased this for a 1st generation Toyota Venza with the V6 3.5L variant. This filter was installed at the same time the spark plugs were changed with NGK iridiums of course. The vehicles mileage increased from 13 mpg to 16 mpg city. Improved acceleration was definitely noticeable throughout the RPM range, very little intake noise at wide open throttle was gained. This is a good upgrade to the factory air box system vs replacing with a metal intake that sounds great but gets heat soaked then starts to rob you of those hp and mpgs. I purchased two of these filters to have one cleaned oiled and ready for the next filter change interval so I do not have any down time.

Great product and worth it in the long run too!
I’ve used K&N air filters for all my vehicles for a long time now. Instantly, from the first measurement after a tank of gas, is a 3 or more MPG boost, as well as the car’s get up and go, too! And you may see the price and notice it’s more expensive that a regular one, but that’s it because it’s supposed to last longer than any other air filter, for most folks it’ll be the last one they buy for the car**-Note: you also need to get the filter cleaner and restorer. It’s pretty much like this: you’ll need the cleaner to was the filter. These filters are made with different materials than the regular filters, and that’s like a mesh, coated with a special oil, that can filter out the “dirt” from your car’s intake, which lets in more and cleaner air. After awhile that filter needs to be cleaned, and cleaner will break up all the crud the oil kept from getting into your engine, and wash it away. After it dries, you recoat the filter to do its job again. What I do is clean the filter about every two oil changes.**- Another note: these filters come with a sticker for your car’s air intake cover, trying to catch a services attention so they don’t toss out your $50 K&N filter and replace it with a $10 cheapie! Don’t let them do this!!! These people have been trained to just flip open the intakes and yank out the filters and tell you it’s dirty and you “need to replace it” with their cheap filter; not good! The cleaning process, pull out the filter, spray it with the cleaner, let it soak in for a couple of minutes, then just rinse it with a hose, and leave it out to dry. Then you spray on the new oil before you put it back in - simple!…

Perfect
Adds pick up speed and horsepower to your vehicle. Make sure to clean it and reoil it and it will outlast your vehicle.

2007 Lexus ES350 K&N
I hope this is not too nerdy, I put together the analysis below based on my car and usage. I work in finance dept and used to calculating savings based on certain parameter.Noticed slight improvement in MPG (about 1-2 MPG).Very easy to install and fit perfectly into canister for OEM air filter.Great value.Price that I paid for this K&N is about $5 more than what Lexus dealer want to charge me for their OEM air filter (parts only, excluding labor).I put in about 20,000 miles/year. With OEM air filter, I averaged 26 MPG = 769 gallon/year.With K&N air filter, assuming improvement of 1 MPG means I can get 27 MPG = 740 gallon/year.Savings of 29 gallon/year. My average gasoline price is $3.9/gallon; which translate to savings of $113/year in gasoline. This is excluding slight improvement in HP and long term savings of not having to pay for $25-30/air filter every 30k miles.Overall saving assuming keeping the car for 120k miles1. Savings in gasoline (only start after 30k miles, because the car brand new already come with OEM air filter. The K&N filter is purchased at 30k miles which is first time air filter need to be replaced); 120k-30k= 90k miles driven with K&N. Savings is $113 for every 20k miles, SAVINGS in gasoline = $5082. Savings in not having to buy OEM air filter. Driving a car for 120k, require 3 OEM air filter (30k, 60k, 90k, don't need to buy anymore at 120k, cause that is the time when car is being sell). Cost of OEM filter = 3 x $30 = $90.Cost of K&N = $34 (at 30k miles) + $13 filter care kit (so can clean the filter to operate car from 30k to 120k miles) = $47.Total savings due to filter cost and operating the car up to 120k miles = $90 - $47 = $43For my analysis, savings is about $508 + $43 = $551Again, this is only applicable for someone that purchase K&N when the OEM air filter is due for replacement at 30k miles and driving the car up to 120k and selling it.Of course, the results will be different if MPG is higher, or if someone replaced their air filter every 15k miles as opposed to 30k miles for my case, etc. This is just to have an idea, how much I can potentially save in the long run.

Great quality and reusability
I have never actually used another filter, but I have a 2011 vehicle and swapped this in for the OEM filter. I can tell you I have never switched the filter in the time that I have had the car, but I am sure it was from the factory.MPG went from about 27.1 to 29.5 by swapping that out. So I can see a difference per fillup. Easy to clean and re-install.

Great Product Over All
I think all K&N filters are about the same. If you believe in their performance for one vehicle it should carry over to any other. They're easy to install. Easy to maintain. And I feel make a real positive difference in performance. They MUST be maintained however. I've seen many vehicles with performance filters like this that aren't properly maintained over their life and they create a real problem. However if you do the simple cleaning and oiling every few thousand miles, the same interval as what you should replace a standard air filter, then you'll have a filter that lasts the life of the vehicle. I have only good things to say about K&N.

BUY THIS PRODUCT - Low price upgrade for increased performance across the board.
If you're looking for everything that's advertised in the product description ~ you will NOT be disappointed. My 2014 Scion TC averaged 9.6 liters/100km prior to installing this aftermarket filter. Once installed it dropped to an average of 8.0 litres/100km driven with this filter. However, if you have a heavy foot ~ you will have drastic increase in acceleration at both lower and higher driving speeds, but the fuel efficiency went to an average of 11 litres/100km while driving more aggressively. All of the posted calculations are indicated on the driver indicator screen above my steering wheel.

Buy this. It's good.
Works as promised. Drop in, drive away. Never have to buy another paper filter again and it gives the slightest of performance boosts.
