Marshall Gas Controls 254-00 2-Stage Auto Vertical Regulator

Ordered this regulator to replace my 6 year old leaking one that came with our RV. This part fit right easily in place of the old failed one, and works perfectly. The Marshall unit is much better built than the original auto changeover regulator on our trailer and should last a long time!

Well built and it is great to utilize both tanks,one or the other, How ever you choose.It met my standards for function, quality and value.

I have several outdoor appliances that run on propane, and I'm tired of running out of fuel at an inopportune time. With this unit, I simply connect two bottles, and when one empties, it automatically switches to the other. This is much better than simple T connections that might let you run longer, but when you run out, you empty both tanks at once. I tend to use a mix of 40 and 20 pound tanks, using the 20 as the "emergency supply" that keeps things running till I get the bigger 40 pound units filled.Works great and is very straightforward to install. Construction quality is fine for the price...mine arrived looking a bit oxidized, but works perfectly.Definitely recommended!

I ordered this regulator via prime. When I received it, the plastic cap was broken. It looks like may have been returned already. I went to order another but it is no longer available vis prime and will cost over 25% more. This is not normal for amazon.

This product was just what I expected.

I needed this because I was tired of running outside when one tank ran out and I didn't like switching tanks while the first tank still had some LPG to go. It took a while, but I finally ran out and this regulator switched over without a hitch. There's still a tiny bit of LPG in the first tank, but I'm fine with that. The indicator doesn't go to all red, but when you see any red, it's switched over to the secondary tank.

This is the perfect replacement part for most campers. It was awesome on my Surveyor by Forrest River. It doesn't have the fancy plastic housing that was on the original but it works flawlessly!

I own a 2004 forest river camper. Well sooner or later parts wear out... My family and I were doing over night trip. As I was laying in the front bed I could smell gas. My old regulator was leaking from the level indicator. I'm very glad it was caught in time. Talk about dangerous. This product is cost effective and it will save lives.
