The rotator gear unit is very poorly made.
The gear mechanism that does the actual rotation is poorly made! The crank you turn to rotate the unit has an amazing amount of slop in it. There are no bushings or bearings used, so the result is that you can turn the crank one full revolution and nothing happens. The crank on mine stopped working today so I removed the cover plate to see what was wrong, and discovered the two drift pins holding the worm gear to the crank handle either fell out or sheared off. A closer look revealed that the gears barely mesh at all.I would not recommend purchasing this unit!Update:Over the last ten days, five attempts to contact Torin for support has proved pointless. All I get is an answering machine, and no one has bothered to call me back. I have decided to reduce my rating to only to one star.
