Beautiful and easy!
Normally I donāt buy live plants. Iāve got a serious thing for seeds and a mad green thumb. But Iāve never grown Mexican oregano and I couldnāt find any seeds. Now it makes sense. I was supposed to get three plants and after unwrapping them I actually got 5. They were mostly bare root with some medium, all bunched together in a sealed but not airtight plastic bag. They were packaged with care so they mostly didnāt move around in the box. They were about 4-6ā roots and 4ā veg. Tbh, the plants themselves looked a bit worn out with a few scars, but not stressed. One of them actually had severed the veg from root, but Iām pretty sure that was a shipping thing, and I had 4 total anyway. I planted them in a coconut coir medium to soak their roots, set them on the counter with average light and went about my business. Let me tell you how quickly these guys came to life! That evening theyād perked right up and flushed vibrant green! They stayed there for several days with minimal watering and zero nutrients and they thrived! (I donāt say do the same, but I wanted to see how theyād fare.) One is actually still on the counter fully planted and it is huge about 3 months later. The 2 in the pic are in my herb box, beautiful and loving life. The fourth is elsewhere in the house and also big and beautiful. The two in the house get minimal watering and still grow crazy fast. The two outside have had a deluge of rain with this insane weather and they donāt care. Point is, all very different environments, different mediums, and they take whatever no matter what. I shouldnāt have expected less being in the mint family, but I am 100% happy with them! Weāll see how the outside two do over the winter, but I always have my inside guys if needed. They have a wonderfully floral, herby and fragrant smell that lingers when you touch them. I understand why itās paralleled to Greek oregano, but it is definitely a unique scent to itself. I will definitely experiment with them in the kitchen. To circle back on the seeds and understanding why I couldnāt find, I donāt expect much in terms of flowers and their habit is self propagation. So to sum it up, the buy was worth it and Iām glad I did! They add such color and variety to my spaces. If your curious, want something different, and even donāt have a green thumb but want something to grow, this is a great option!!Ps, they arenāt succulents, but if thatās your thing, they do resemble the pattern and would fit right in. They are FAST growers so I donāt recommend pairing together in the same planter at all (again, think mint), but aesthetically they would look great side by side. Based on my experiments, I would also think theyād do just fine in that medium!

Excellent quality highly recommended
Last winter, my beautiful, huge pot of Keean oregano died during the winter. I was heartbroken as my chickens absolutely love to get cuttings of this as a treat.I found these online and ordered one. It showed a small snippet, but as fast as the stuff crows, I figured I would be in good shape.Excellent shape with roots on them. I am so much further ahead of the game than I expected to be. I am immensely pleased. I cannot tell you how happy I am looking at what other things this person is selling in the very close feature thank you so so much

Healthy and roots well
The information says two Cuban Oregano plants. There were three. (I won't be charged extra now, will I? š)All three arrived well rooted and in healthy condition. I planted them roughly 24 hours after arrival. Now, roughly five weeks later, we have five healthy plants. My wife took clippings from two of them and replanted them and they rooted fine, and the original three continued to survive. However, they did not survive our Georgia winter with temps in the 30s. So, we are now ordering more. I have to add that the cutting blossomed so well it ended up occupying roughly a quarter of our five-foot above ground vegetable garden. This year we will plant it in a portable garden which we can take inside during the winter. I will also update the review with photos.

perfect specimens- even though weeks and weeks late
Truly a great price on these Mexican mints/Cuban oregano great size plant superhealthy surprisingly since it took a few weeks after the schedule date for them to arrive luckily it's cold enough they didn't die it would be a five star review if they came faster

Grows rapidly
Recommended. Planted both in a 16" container and they have grown to at least 6ft tall with large fragrant leaves. Still trying to find recipes for the harvest. Bring inside before the first cold nights.
