In an attempt to reduce my disposable plastics use I decided to try these biodegradable buds and I am very pleased with the product I have received. The buds are functionally just as good, if not better, than their plastic counterparts as they are strong and absorbent. They arrived quickly in fully recyclable non-plastic packaging. I will definitely be buying again.

These are just as good as non biodegradable/plastic ones - if not better. Very good value for money as well! It’s pricier than regular ones but you’re paying for them being eco-friendly which I am happy to pay for!

Good value for money with nice packaging (very impressed). I was super happy to find a sustainable option for cotton buds. The sticks are sturdy and the cotton heads are wound very well so they don't fall apart easily.

I got these because I wanted to cut down on the plastic waste we were producing. I'm trying to switch to natural products where possible.These looked like a nice alternative to the standard cotton buds, and they do, indeed look and feel just like a plastic cotton bud.However, because the stick is made of bamboo, any lateral pressure at all snaps them, like (because they ARE) a dry twig.So, you can put them onto the surface of your ear and gently wipe around, or you can use them to soak up flecks of paint when painting, but if you need to do any kind of scrubbing (like jewelry cleaning or tile grout cleaning), they snap very easily. If you have one in your ear, the crunching sound when it snaps is just ... ugghh *shudder*.So, I give them 5/5 for their packaging and value, but 3/5 for sturdiness.

Working as a makeup artist we use a lot of cotton buds to clean up mess under the eyes, or to add shape to a look etc. I noticed how much plastic was being thrown away so decided to go with buds made from bamboo that I know wouldn’t harm the environment as much. These are great!

Great product - I like to use cotton buds while doing my make up, to correct any little smudges etc, but have been concerned about the impact on our environment so stopped using them.So glad to see this option, which meets all my requirements for kindness to our world as well as sorting out my smudges!They’re really nice to use; I’d recommend them to everyone - please stop using the others which end up washed up on beaches etc.

I was a bit unsure of these after reading the reviews but wanted to do my bit to reduce plastic and couldn't stand using the normal cotton buds knowing how bad they are for the environment. These are great and I'd never go back to anything but the bamboo ones. I've been recommending them to friends and family.

The cotton buds are strong and flexible. Perfect for the use and not dangerous for the environment!
