affordable and delicious
Honestly, this is one of my favorite go to treats, and I've been eating these for over a year now. always buy one or two packages a month and can't deny that for the affordable price, these delicious red bean buns are the best bean buns. Of course only me and my nephew like Japanese style treats in the home but that just means more for us XD

tasty -- brings back memories
this was great. my dad was in the air force and we were stationed in Japan and I had this as a kid. It's great to have a taste from childhood. My sister calls them Japanese pancakes because it is like the red beans are sandwiched between two fluffy pancakes and it's a little sweet but not very sweet. I love the taste. They are wrapped individually and very well so they tasted fresh too.

Good, not the best
These are good but I wouldn’t say the best. My only complaint is that the pastry part (pancakes) are a bit dry instead of moist. I had my first one of these from my SakuraCo subscription box but they seem to be a higher quality and very fresh in comparison. These are still great as they are imported and not easy to get locally, will buy again!

Fast delivery, but dangerously rancid, spoiled product
I am very sorry to write this, but while the product arrived very quickly, all three packages contained rancid, spoiled dorayaki. I was completely disappointed and had to throw them all way. I think the maker and importer are probably not at fault but this has to likely do with the storage of the product, resulting in dangerously spoiled food potentially harboring bacteria, mold, or whatever. :-(

No printed expiration anywhere, that's a deal breaker
These are fresh baked goods and they are not individually sealed in their packages so their shelf life is a matter of contention. I looked everywhere but could find no use by dates or mfg date codes or lot info. I had a few out of the first package and they tasted allright, but I ended up throwing the other 2 packages away months later because I didn't know if they were good anymore and didn't trust them.Consider that twinkies, something that is individually packaged and hermetically sealed, only have a shelf life of about 2 months, and you might see the problem.
