Brilliant gadget fresh spreadable butter for weeks
can’t get over what a genius little device this is. the water in the crock acts as a seal preventing the butter coming into contact with the air and discolouring causing a sour taste. one of my kids would only eat butter from the fridge because of the taste of day old soft butter but he now eats this fresh spreadable butter from the marble container which stays fresh even for weeks. Ive bought four as gifts. One was broken on arrival - the packaging isn’t protractive enough to deal with the rigours of postage. the white marble looks lovely too. I’ll be buying more. such a clever way to preserve butter.

Makes eating real butter easier
This butter dish is excellent. I wanted to be able to leave real butter out so it’s more spreadable and this allows exactly that. It takes enough butter to be really useful. I highly recommend.

I was very unsure about this product when buying it, however it is amazing. It keeps the temperature of the butter perfectly without making it too hard or too soft. The water ensures a clean, crumb free butter. It’s an elegant design and is made very well. It is heavy for what it is and matches my mortar and pestle perfectly. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing another for a gift very soon.
