This bike arrived and had minimal work required to get going. Irregardless of the cheap price, this bike looks amazing and much better than in the pictures. It performs well and I haven't had any problems so far. It is a fairly heavy bike but thats fine for me as I am only wanting it for medium distance rides to keep fit and enjoy the scenery. The 'mag' wheels look great , are easy to clean and a lot of people comment on how expensive the bike looks and when I say that it only cost about £250 they are surprised.

A very striking bike, pity they dont do a 27.5 inch one. assembly was simple but the instructions were for another model. Having it checked by a bike shop at present.follow up, the bike shop found a 6 peed shimano rotary wheel instead of a seven speed and questioned some of the welding. The company paid to have it changed (£32)

This bike needs setup. This is clearly stated in the listing you should not expect the bike to come fully assembled. The provided instructions have some of the most garbled, incomprehensible attempt at English I've ever read, but the pictures are clear and useful.If you are unfamiliar with setting up bikes, I would suggest watching a few tutorials on Youtube to help you properly align your disc brakes and derailleurs. It might take you a few hours to get it set up properly but it is worth it and will extend the life of the bicycle.Before getting on the bike, please be aware this bike arrives set up in the EU/US format: front brake on left, rear on right. Don't go grabbing a lot of what you think is the back brake, you'll be chewing tarmac for days. Swapping the cables is easy enough, and again there are many tutorials for this on Youtube.The bike is heavy, so if you have dreams of carrying it upstairs because you live in a flat like I do you might want to choose something lighter. That said, it's not unmanageably heavy.The folding mechanism is solid and there is no flexing or noise from the joint whilst riding. Whilst it does fold, the handlebars at full width with the frame in the folded position and can limit your storage options. You could release the handlebars from the spindle with an allen key, but that's a hassle every time you want to ride.Once together, the bike rides nicely. The steering is light and smooth, the gears and pedals too. My wheels arrived with some chipped paint, so I'll be watching out for rust forming on them. Another thing of note is that the decals on the wheels are NOT reflective and the supplied reflectors only attack to spoked wheels, so you have absolutely ZERO side-facing reflectors.The grips are uncomfortable and easily identified as the cheapest items on the bike. I have replacements on the way.For £250 this is certainly better than any Halfords bike I've owned, but it could use some improvements to make it a 5 star, worry-free purchase.

Bought it for my brother so it's a secondhand opinion.Cons:- HEAVY- no good grip point when you are trying to carry it without folding.Pros:- My brother is super happy, says it works and looks like it would cost way more.- He is doing some serious miles on it without any issues so far.- Easy to assemble

Great that it folds to go in the back of our car, had a tyre puncher on it after a week or so, took to the bike shop and said the brake discs were slightly bent but this is a command fault with all discs as they are easily bent in packaging. Looks great and our teenage son loves it

The bike, as received isn't great. The recommended rider height of 5'4"-6'0" is a blatant lie. I'm 5'10" and the bike is too small for me. I think this might be a 17" frame.I've fitted a stem riser and positioned the saddle a little lower than I should have for my height. Now I can at least ride the bike without the major lower back pain I had from riding this originally.The tyres were poor. They bulged and even popped out of the rims at quite low PSI (~30) and so they needed replacing.The pedals are poor with no grip, so I swapped those out, and unusually, this bike comes equipped with a Judas Cradle rather than a saddle. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist, but I also changed that.The bike is heavy at around 20kg. A pain to carry up and down stairs, but I am getting used to it. It gets easier, especially when you figure out how best to hold it. Folding and unfolding just takes a few seconds. I suggest you use something to keep it folded when carrying it. I use a Velcro bicycle clip.Some substantial setup is also required. The gears, suspension and brakes all need adjusting. There's lots of tutorials on YouTube.In places the construction of the bike is pretty sloppy. The welding could have been done much better, and some components are poor quality. Rust began to appear at the very hint of rain, but I've now oiled everything. However, the bike seems pretty sturdy.Bike price £245I've spent around £100 extra (Saddle, tyres, pedals, stem riser, handlebar grips.)Overall it's not too bad for helping to build up my strength/fitness, but in 12 months I'm probably going to want to buy something better quality.
