Very very good coil. Loved it. Know matter how cold it is outside you can hear it fire up gas in a cold Engine. **Q: hooked up new coil the same way as old one that was good but just old and ugly and im not getting any fire so my question is what could cause this??** A: I'm no pro, yet I have noted that a capacitor helps the coil give a better spark. I cannot say this with certainty either, yet getting too much voltage back into the ignition module can ruin it, at least partially. Certain "functions" are damaged is what I was told. A capacitor can help reduce the voltage that gets thrown back to the module, as well as keep the radio from popping. The thing that makes the voltage that gets back to the module that highest is not having the spark reaching ground easy enough. This can be caused by the rotor, cap, or wiring not letting it get to the spark plug.
