Each has a hard shell, so (unless there are glass and other super-breakable objects in there) contents are protected really well from a fall. It's quasi-similar to a really small eyeglass case (though realistically, I wouldn't put in contacts or anything unless they're sealed in another container first). It's about 3.5" in diameter (more or less), so it won't hold a ton of coins. It's great for running and short trips, because you can squeeze a couple of dollars, some ear buds and/or keys in there. Product is pretty much as seen in picture, so you can gauge its size better by looking at it.My doubts, as with most goods sold directly from China without with a well-known brand/vendor is quality control. Considering that, though, I'd say that it's manufactured well enough for the price and practicality. Clearly this isn't a dinner-party or actual wallet coin purse, but it serves its purpose. My complaint is that it's kind of difficult to zip up (even when empty), but not to the point that I'd discourage ordering it. I love that it doesn't flatten out when pressure is applied to it like I've had others do in the past. I also love the little tab on it so you can put it on a key chain or just a chain. The mesh netting inside works to hold labrets and earrings in place, if you thread them through the mesh.
