The Big Guy LOVES these, but they disappear VERY quickly
Our King Shepherd, Tatanka, absolutely loves these Turkey Tendon treats, so much so, he insists on bringing in the Amazon box from the front entrance, so he can open the package and then "persuade" me to open the package and give him one of these. One small issue is he thinks EVERY Amazon box should have a case of these Turkey Tendon's in it. At the rate its going, that just might happen............ If I move too slowly, he will take it upon himself to rip open the main Amazon box and then get the box of the Turkey Tendons torn open. I just don't want to risk him tearing open the plastic packaging or getting a hold of the "freshness packet" somehow as that's not to be ingested or chewed upon...... The Good news, he likes them so much, I can convince him to do what he needs to do, in order to get one. For example, he is a super picky eater, but when I let him know he can have one of these knotted Turkey Tendon's if he eats his dinner, the dinner disappears. He tends to be very stubborn, but he will eat his dinner, so he can have one of these treats. We have purchased the tendon strips, the tendon rings and the tendon "knotted chews", which are the subject of this review. The strips literally don't last a minute. The tendon rings, he eats them like they are Onion Rings (which dogs should NEVER have, as onions are not good for them.....) but the tendon rings are about the same size and even look sort of like onion rings, that's why I made the reference. If I would let him, Tatanka would eat these like nacho chips. We try and use them to either encourage the desired behavior or reward the best behavior. Don't get me wrong, he's a very intelligent and well behaved K9, he just knows what he wants and is very determined to get what he wants.....so it often comes down to a test of wills. (ok, I will admit, I lose often as he just has that face that hard to tell no)....Plus he and I are best pals. From all appearances, the Turkey Tendon treats appear to be a healthier treat as they claim. Our big guy is in excellent health and his blood tests are all good, his body weight is perfect. But that's because moderation is used. If It were up to Tonkee, he would eat the entire box for dinner. But he eats Farmers Dog Fresh Food and gets these Turkey Tendons purely as a treat and no more than 1 per day........(well, usually no more than once per day, as I mentioned, he is very persuasive and I am a softie when it comes to this big guy). I prefer these over any raw hides, etc for my guy. He doesn't like 99% of the dog treats on the market, simply not interested in any of them and won't even take them. But these, he loves...... Somehow, these are now on our Auto Shipment or Subscription. A case of the knotted chews and a case of the rings......wonder how that happened? Thank goodness for the discount coupon of nearly $30 I have been able to use for the last several months. Expensive, but worth it as he absolutely LOVES these Turkey Tendons............

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally found the one
Here's a polished Amazon review: **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally found the one!** This has been a must-have for our doodle for over three years. He's incredibly picky and would rather skip a meal than eat something he doesn't like. Before finding these, we were changing his treats every few months because he'd lose interest. Once we discovered this brand, everything changed. He still gets just as excited for them as he did on day one and even demands one every day! It's rare to find a treat a picky dog never gets tired of, and we're so happy we found these. Highly recommend for anyone with a selective eater. If it's for a specific type of treat (training treats, dental chews, jerky, etc.), I can tailor the review to fit that product even better.

You can also put smaller treats in it if u pop
My dog absolutely loves this treat. Wish it would last longer.

Not long lasting!
DO not expect this bone to last! I have a 13 year old Black Lab female that devoured the bone in less then 5 minutes. Obviously she loves the taste but for the money it is not a good value. The only reason I purchased this was it was 40 percent off regular price.

Not long lasting but damn good product
I was on the market for something my 2.5 month old Aussie puppy can chew on that does not splinter, does not stink, doesn't make a mess, and last long. Other than longevity - this product passed everything! The quality feels really good. Its dry but still has enough moisture that it bends instead of breaking. As it gets wet, it sort of peels instead of splintering which I think she likes a lot. She loves peeling tape off of cardboard boxes so no surprises there. It doesnt leave a mess and IT DOES NOT STINK AT ALL. This is a crate treat for her but I’d be fine with her carrying it around the house when she is older. My initial issue was with the poor longevity, but I have come to realize that this a sign of quality dog treats. It does make it the pricier option out there but I think it is worth it for a puppy. Do I wish it lasted her more than 15-20 minutes for the price, yes. Would I rather have something else that splinters but lasts longer, no. All in all 10/10, buying more.

Highly suspect this gave my dog pancreatitis and liver failure
I will start by saying our dog never gets treats. Ever. He has a strict diet and the training we paid for as a pup reinforced praise rather than edible treats. I made an exception this time and bought this bone along with several stimulating toys to keep him busy while we’re away from home. I saw all the positive reviews and advertised as “Sourced in USA”. I was misled. I gave our border collie this bone on 5/31 and he only ate 1 knuckle end before I took it away because he was eating it so quickly. On the night of 6/6 (less than a week later), he vomited all night and was unable to keep anything down for more than 24 hrs. He finally kept small amounts of water down but was very lethargic. I took him to the vet 6/8 and after many, many tests (blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds) and more than $3k later, it’s been determined he has severe acute pancreatitis and liver failure. His liver numbers were so elevated that the vet had to send out blood work to a specialized lab because the values were too high for their machines to read. He’s been at the vet every day since then receiving meds and liters and liters of fluid to flush out the elevated bilirubin. This is a 4 year old completely healthy dog, not an elderly dog with other health issues. They have determined a toxin of some sort is to blame. He is leash walked in our yard only and has not consumed any plants, pods, mushrooms, etc. The ONLY thing different in his diet was the bone. I can’t 100% say that the bone is what caused it, but I’ve seen 3 other reviews in the past week with complaints of the bone making their dog gravely ill with the same symptoms as our dog. I’m extremely suspicious that this was a bad batch and possibly not regulated in production as the actual packaging says made in VIETNAM, not USA. DO NOT BUY!!!

Not long lasting but good
It’s a quick treat for your fur friend that they will enjoy. It does not have a strong odor nor make a mess. However it is advertised as long lasting large dog chew and yet less than 5 minutes later it has disappeared completely. Probably won’t buy again.
