So I have the 2017 MacBook Pro with the Butterfly Mechanism Keyboard and users all over the world have been complaining about debris and dust entry under the keys causing sticky and unresponsive keys. Apple has also announced a global programme for free repair of such keys upto 4 years from the date of sale of these machines, and they improved the dust resilience in 2018 with a revised keyboard.So, I was looking for a keyboard silicone case for improving my keyboard life and avoiding repair. Found a lot of options on Amazon ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs. 2000 (imported ones rated high by international blogs) and I thought of ordering this OJOS Keyboard Skin for my 13 inch Device, which was hitting the budget sweet spot for me.Packaging : Very well packaged in a flat and slim envelope like box. Box has an easy tear sleeve that can be torn to access the sleeve.OJOS Skin : It's not a super transparent silicon skin but it's translucent white in colour and putting it on PROPERLY is also quite a difficult task to say the least.INSTALLATION :1. First clean the keyboard for existing debris using a soft bristle paint brush to remove major amount of dust particles.2. If you have the time, take a moment to clean the keyboard keys with a soft moist cloth to remove oil from your fingers.3. Start placing the OJOS skin from one side and slowly and steadily stretch it across the keyboard. Try and make sure each key ridge is held well in place by the silicon skin.4. Try and stretch and remove air wrinkles for a better fit.Impressions AFTER usage :1. Looks horrible on my MacBook Pro with a ghostly white look on what is otherwise a sexy laptop. Would perhaps have looked better if it was super transparent.2. Supposed to be super thin, but this skin feels thick to me and on first few instances I noticed it's so thick that it doesn't let me close my lid tight. This should get better with time, but that just means it's not thin enough for the keyboard's flat keys.3. REDUCTION in TYPING SPEED : The MacBook Pro Butterfly keyboard allowed me to type nice and fast, but this OJOS Skin does reduce quite a lot of speed for me (80WPM to 60WPM), but it shouldn't be a dealbreaker for most, and I'm guessing it'll only get better after usage.4. BACKLIGHTING : Backlighting is visible in both lowest and and highest modes, but the AUTOBACKLIT Sensor forcefully tries to amp the key backlighting after using this skin.Overall, I think this skin is a step in the right direction, but I do not like the fact that it hampers with my typing speed and doesn't look so good and doesn't let me shut my lid tight. The product fits well and has a decent feel to it, reached as promised as well - While frost was ordered black was received - I still use it as it's ok and manageable not bad ! Yes had they sent any other multi coloured version it was a sure return !fits well and feels ok while typing - light permeability and life can be reported after consistent usage

The media could not be loaded.  The fit of the cover is magical.. BUT.. It does not let the keyboard brightness make the letters brighter.. it only let's the hue leak around the edges.. Which might help in extremely dark areas but not in mildly dark room.

Works and fits well. Would recommend.

It does not stick perfectly after few days of usage and gets raised from somewhere in between every now and then. I bought it to avoid the famous double key press issue. This made it little better but did not resolve it.
