I didn't really use the size chart, but saw the comments from the other reviews.For the product Quality - The Shirt works well. Playing on turf, I used the outfit a few times. I liked the padding in the stomach, as it absorbed point-blank shots without much hassle. My elbows were also thankful for the padding. After a few weeks, still no burn.As for the Pants - I would say this is where improvement is needed. Although a little snug, the knee padding didn't really do anything. I think this is because the thickness of the padding and the location (it fell slightly below the desired area, so my knee was more exposed than I would have liked. Regardless of the location, I would say that the padding is very below average. Immediately after the 1st game, I could see the material covering the padding already starting to fray, and by the 2nd game, the foam became exposed. Now, the pants serve no real value.I don't think I would buy the set again. I purchased the set, because I was intrigued to have pants that would protect my knees, and unfortunately, this product did not serve that purpose.
