ApplianPar 754305 Dryer Motor Pulley for Maytag Amana Speed Queen Replace 2200376, AP4029141, PS2021298

The threads on the original pulley in my dryer were completely stripped, causing the dryer to no longer spin, so I had to look around a bit for a replacement. I found this one based on the part serial number, and despite the fact that it doesn't look much like the original pulley (the original has sort of a dome-shaped piece on the end), this fit perfectly and fixed the issue, causing my dryer to spin again.

The post office sent this past my town and took 2 days to get it back. That being said, this is exactly what I was searching for but couldn't find. If you have a dryer with the motor on the right side, it maybe like my motor with left or reverse threading. This pulley is a left hand threaded motor pulley. If it hadn't been for finding this piece , I was looking at spending 107 to 137 for a new motor with the pulley installed.

This pulley has LEFT HAND threads. I saw some reviews indicating the opposite and was hesitant to order because of this. The part that arrived definitely has left hand threads. As others have mentioned the part is different than the original but is actually much better. The hardest part was removing the original pulley, which required some careful cutting with a cutoff wheel. Happy I didn’t have to replace the motor.

This is a reverse thread dryer motor pulley. Fits Maytag model SDE4606 which does not offer pulley only replacement motor for $120.00!! Needless to say this fit perfect and dryer runs fine. Note: it's likely important to use a new drum belt and tension wheel if damaged like mine when it slipped off pulley and stripped the original aluminum motor pulley. Shipping was fast next day was sent arrived on day 3!!

They will not give you the information you need, like Hey you need left hand threads. I ordered one that looked like the old one. It did not fit because it had regular right hand threads. After reading some reviews that said they had left hand threads and that this one fit, I ordered one. It does not look like the old one but it has left hand threads, it fits and it works. This one also cost less. I absolutely recommend this item.

If you need left handed threads this is the one you need. Much more affordable than some others. Solved the problem. Seems to be make of something other than alum alloy so might last longer on the steel shaft.

Didn’t look like the original part but it fits and works perfectly . Way cheaper than buying a new dryer.

Still working,... space where belt sits is wider than original but I dont care as long as it works and it does
