JUMBO Puzzle Roll-Up
I was a bit torn about purchasing this item because of some of the reviews, which I heavily rely on when making any purchase from any website. I am always realistic about the reviews that products recieve. I understand that some people really test out the product and are very fair in their assestments, and I know that others give very unreliable and uneducated reviews (mostly because they did not read the product information (or understand it) before they made their purchase and they ended up disappointed when the order arrived. There were, what seemed, quite honest and thoughtful reviews, but even more reviews from people that were unhappy (with many of them, seemingly, thoughtful). I decided to purchase the item, despite the negative reviews, simply because the price was decent and I knew I could return the item if it was just completely horrible. Normally, I would not have made the purchase because, as I stated earlier, I rely heavily on customer reviews. I am glad that I followed my instincts this time instead of the reviews. This product is great. No deception by the company, at all, in the description. And I must say that I was very surprised at the quality of this item, considering there were so many people that said it was made cheaply. I wonder what they thought they were ordering, and wondering, even more, why they decided to leave bad reviews. As I said, the item is EXACTLY as described by the company and there was absolutely nothing in the description that was misleading or that suggested it was of a higher quality than it is. So anyone purchasing this, and who has read the information, should know exactly what to expect. Yes the material had a few wrinkles when I opened it......not a problem at all. In fact I didn't even take out the iron like some of the other reviewers say they did. Once I rolled it up and left it over night the wrinkles were gone.....It did not come folded, but instead it was rolled and packed inside one of the tubes. The wrinkles are one thing that I do not understand the complaints about. This has been made for working very large puzzles. I wonder how people actually think this should have been packaged in order to avoid any wrinkles. I suppose they think that the felt should have been laid flat with cardboard (or some such material) used to make it stable, and then it be packaged and sent that way. Ha Ha Ha.....can you imagine?!?!?!!! When laid flat, this is gigantic!! Kudos to the company for choosing the packing option they did. As far as the other pieces included, they are all as described, and of a higher quality than I expected. Yes, the tubes are cardboard. Very sturdy cardboard and very easy to use. I also like the elastic bands with the velcro closures.....very easy to use, as well. If I was asked to find at least one fault with this, it would be that the tubes fit together quite loosley and they will, easily, detach from each other if you don't pay attention when rolling the felt. If the fit was a bit more snug I think that would be nice. Happy I purchased this item instead of one of the more expensive ones? YES Would I recommend this to others? YES Were some of the reviews misleading? YES Did the company make misleading comments as to the quality of the item? NO Did I think I was getting something different than what I ordered/recieved? NO Would I purchase this item again, for myself or as a gift? YES Does this work as described? YES Is this easy to use? YES Was it worth the price? YES..... And as to the comments from others suggesting they could go to the store and purchase all the items included with this kit, and that it would be cheaper and of better quality, I would like to see it done! I have been crafting, puzzling, etc. for years and years, and know that it would be impossible to buy these items (of the same quality) for less than the cost of this kit. Sure, you could go to a hardware store or craft store and purchase everything included with this, but you would surely spend much more money and time getting it done, and would not have the luxury of ordering from home and then making a quick trip to the mailbox to get your product. So, to potential buyers, I recommend this product! There are other options available, with most of them at a higher cost, even though most of them list the same materials in their descriptions. So for the price, quality, and intended use, you can't go wrong with this one!!

Good Stuff
I bought this for a 2000 piece puzzle I was planning on starting because I didn't want a 2000 piece puzzle on my kitchen table forever. I really like this mat. The felt surface keeps pieces from sliding around, and the rolling tube is adjustable in length (smaller or larger puzzles). The only thing about this, and I'm sure all puzzle mats are this way, is that before you roll it up, you have to make certain that all the pieces on the mat are in a single layer. If you have loose pieces on it, just make sure you don't have any on top of each other, otherwise it won't roll right. I love how this is so big, but not too big. It is really workable.

A Good Option
I was unsure how well this mat would work, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I does most of what I want it to do and stows away unobtrusively in the corner. It's also much cheaper than some other solutions. The main downside is that puzzle pieces don't slide well on the mat. The felt just grabs and won't allow any slip. That is a very annoying problem, but I'll put up with it over some of the more expensive options. If I did a great many puzzles, I'd be looking for a better fabric. Size wise, a thousand pieces is about the limit and that may be pushing it a bit. The tube is cardboard, so take care of it and don't get it wet. It should last a long time with care however. This system is a little pricey for what you get, but in the long run, the value is okay.

Good mat system for puzzle storage
We have made two puzzles with it, and it really is convenient to use. I would recommend possibly ironing the fabric before first use, we didn't, but it would have made the puzzle making easier if we had taken the time to iron it before putting the puzzle on it. It really does keep everything there so you can stow the puzzle away till you want to take it out again. Now, for what you are buying, when you open it, it seems a lot to pay for the fabric, cardboard tube and velcro/elastic straps, but we have not made puzzles for years due to the inconvenience of having to make space somewhere in the house for them, and then having to cover them keep the cats off of them. So this was a worthy purchase, we have enjoyed making puzzles again, even took one on a recent trip with us that we were able to finish and then roll back up and take home without breaking it up.

The worst material to puzzle on
I love to do puzzles but I sometimes don't finish as quickly as I'd like so I thought this product would be wonderful to put puzzles away when I know I'm not going to finish them in a timely manner. Well... I probably could have made this myself and would have chosen better materials. The actual material you work the puzzle on is felt and doesn't allow the puzzle pieces to slide at all. So you're constantly having to pick up the pieces to get them in place which then causes the larger sections to just fall apart when you're placing them. It is so awkward. A foam material would have been a much better choice. The tube you wrap around is legit a cardboard roll. I get that this is a great product, in theory, but the execution is cheap and not user-friendly. I can't see myself using it again because it was so annoying.

disappointed
This does basically what it is supposed to do. The felt is all wrong, its very thick and soft which is incompatible with trying to slide puzzle pieces around, they get caught up on the fibers and you pieces crumble apart. Other puzzle rolls I've used in the past, the felt was smoother and didnt catch the pieces. I bought this because I dont have a table to put puzzles togethor at so it goes on the floor. While I cant criticize the product itself for my discomfort in doing so, I wouldnt recommend this approach. This product isnt high quality, but it does what it is supposed to do. However I wouldnt recommend it. Its also small, I had a 2000 piece puzzle and the border alone took up almost the whole mat leaving me no place to lay out the pieces.

It is easy to use and convenient!
I like that it is easy to roll out and fix your puzzle on and then you can roll it up to move it when table space is needed and you don’t need to take the puzzle apart! When you are ready to go back to fixing it, just unroll and it is ready to go!!!

Arrived in poor shape and didn't really work
Arrived super wrinkled and looking terrible. It also doesn't work well at all. Tried it with a 300 piece puzzle and lots of pieces became loose when unrolling it.

High Quality for Low Price
Over the years my dad bought many different brands of puzzle mats and due to excessive moving all over the world we always left the mats behind and bought new ones wherever we went... This is the latest we got... In my opinion they are all the same (the mats not the tubes)... So, this mat is big enough for 3000 piece puzzles (maybe even bigger for some puzzle brands like Castorland), serves the purpose and at least 30-40% cheaper than big brand names....

Does the trick.

très utile
ce tapis est très utile pour pouvoir ranger son puzzle afin qu'il ne prennent pas de place. Petit problème il n'est pas pratique pour les puzzle de forme panoramique car le puzzle dépasse. sinon rien à redire.
