Perfect Size and Great Quality for My Tank
These driftwood pieces are exactly what I needed for my aquarium. Each one has a unique shape, and they’re the perfect size for my 10-gallon tank—big enough to make an impact but not so large that they take over the space. They arrived clean, with no sharp edges, and sank easily after a short soak. The natural look really adds character to the tank, and my fish love swimming around and hiding in the little spaces. I also noticed they help create a more natural environment for my shrimp and bottom dwellers. If you’re looking for quality driftwood that’s ready to use and aquarium-safe, this set is an excellent value.

Perfect
I ordered the 4 pack of spider wood (8-10 inches), and I am so pleased with my purchase. I received 4 beautiful, uniquely-shaped pieces of wood that were perfect for creating a centerpiece in my ten gallon tank. The wood is strong and thick, and is not prone to breakage. I ordered spider wood specifically because it is supposed to contain less tannins and, therefore, the water won’t turn as brown. After boiling for ~30 minutes, two of the pieces didn’t release any tannins at all (yay!), while the other two did. However, I’m sure they will be fine to use after I soak them overnight in warm, dechlorinated water. I haven’t had any issues with floating, and all the pieces seem to be sinking well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend this listing.

Nice pieces however one was definitely shorter than expected, all should have been at least eight inches, one is about four. Got them soaking now

TERRIBLE!
Possibly the worst and smallest pieces of driftwood. I needed these for my fish tank and I was just disappointed. One star is my review and thats generous. If I could give it a 0, I would. This is so disappointing and not at all what they showed in the picture, they were really tiny and barely even eight inches. I'm so disappointed and this should not even be on amazon. They also came very poorly packaged, and I just think the seller should do better.

Definitely a little underwhelming.
Giving it a 3 out of 5 for now, haven't boiled or installed into new tank yet I'm just pretty disappointed in size. 8"-12" Is what it claims, they definitely took a little liberty with that, 1 is 7", 1 is a hair over 8", and last 1 is right at 10". I'd of given a 2 star but the 7" piece is a pretty cool looking little piece, so I'll give it a pass.

Great buy
It's truly perplexing to see complaints about tannins. These are naturally occurring phenolic compounds found in almost all plants and, by extension, in real, untreated wood. Complaining about tannins after purchasing a "natural" or "organic" product is simply illogical. It's the equivalent of buying tea and then being upset because it changed the water's color. This driftwood is real, organic, and untreated, meaning its natural properties—including the release of tannins that cause discoloration—are guaranteed. The solution isn't to complain about the product you received, but to either order a different type of wood or do the necessary research before placing the order. Getting frustrated for receiving exactly what was promised (with the size being the only possible exception) is unproductive. I've had this wood in my tank for several months now and am very happy with the purchase. I was initially hesitant due to the uncertainty of the size (after reading various reviews), but the piece I received was a nice size for the price. Overall, I am very satisfied with the value and quality. As expected, it did release a good amount of tannins. I cleaned and soaked the wood for about a week before placing it in the tank, and while it continues to leach tannins, it's not nearly as much as during that initial soak. I'm actually happy about the continued presence of tannins, as they are highly beneficial to the aquarium ecosystem. Tannins aren't harmful; instead, they simulate a more natural habitat and offer several advantages for the fish, including: Antifungal and antibacterial properties. Stress reduction. Lowering pH levels, which can be ideal for fish that thrive in slightly acidic water. In fact, my fish seem much happier and more comfortable with the tannins present. I've even noticed that when I perform a water change (which temporarily decreases the tannin level), my fish appear stressed, indicating they've become used to, and benefit from, these natural conditions.
