$14 instead of $40 HVAC Company charges
Helps keep bacteria buildup down in pan. AC runs alot here in Florida, so this is a good preventative. I was paying my HVAC contractor $40 for this every 6 months when they came out for routine maintenance, but today I handed this $14 one to the technician when he came out and he said no problem installing it.

UNBELIVABLE
I have a minisplit AC unit on my garage wall. During my biannual checkup visit, the service man said, you need to have a condensate treatment pan installed inside you unit to keep mold and mildue from forming and restricting the drain tube. I said, sounds like a great idea, how much will it cost. He said $99. So I said, maybe we can do it next time. After he left, I went online and found this product for only $14. All you do to install it is open up the front of the unit and place this pad in the pan were the water collects, a two minute installation. I think the AC company was trying to take advantage of me. Thank you.

KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THIS UNTIL WE HAD A REPAIR MAN COME OUT AND LOOK AT OUR AIR CONDITIONER
I DO NOT FEEL I CAN GIVE A GOOD REVIEW ON THIS AS I AM NOT SURE IF IT REALLY WORKS OR NOT. WE HAD A SMELL LIKE OLD WATER WHEN OUR AIRCONDITIONER WAS ON RECIRCULATING MODE. WE WERE TOLD WE NEEDED TO CLEAN THE COILS IN THE FURNANCE AND BUY THIS PAD THAT LAYS IN A DRAINING AREA BELOW THE COILS. THE COILS WERE SPRAYED WITH A SPECIAL CLEANER THEN THE PAD PUT INTO PLACE. STILL GET THE SMELL, MAYBE NOT AS BAD BUT IT DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. WE HAVE LIVED IN NEW HOMES AND SOLD SEVERAL TIMES, THIS HOME HAPPENED TO BE 6 YRS OLD WHEN WE PURCHASED IT. NONE OF OUR HOMES BEFORE THIS DID WE HAVE THIS ISSUE, AND SOME WE LIVED IN FOR 15 YEARS. ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS OF SOMETHING ELSE TO LOOK AT!!!

Easy Protection
Just place it in the drip pan (blue side up) and it helps prevent clogs in the drain line for the entire air conditioning season. No need for weekly tablets. One and done.

Live in Florida - use these because HVAC runs virtually every day
We use these every six months at system maintenance to keep the drain lines free and clear. These pads are much simpler than using the tablets. Tablets last only about 6 weeks, these last 6 to 9 months and fit out semi-annual HVAC system maintenance routine. Never worry about the drain lines.

Great product!
Convenient shipping, treatment pad didn't have instructions. I emailed the seller and found that the fabric side was the proper side to have down in condensation pan. Thanks
