Super 250 Electric Guitar Strings, Nickel Plated Steel, Ball End, 250BVI Bass VI .024-1.00

I’ve used 3 sets of those in first half of 2024, no quality problems encountered. 6th/E is tapered after nut (vibrato length included) and fits into standard and split peg holes, intonates properly (some bridge fiddling still required, just screw adjustments, no flipping/cutting or 3rd party parts). It’s a proper bass string now and not a puny 0.84 Tension is good, unlike other 3rd party brand, almost twice cheaper too. The only downside is that packaging doesn’t include color coding for 6 string configuration. Just in case, order is: Brass(Gold)-Candy Apple Red-Nickel(Silver)-Sea Foam Green-Graffiti Yellow-Lake Placid Blue

These should be the standard strings that come on a Bass VI so Fender/Squier made the first mistake of not making these the common string, don't make the same mistake! Great string gauges with the lowest E (in tone, actually the highest on the fretboard) 1.00 for a great thumpin bottom! Great price as well!

Big improvement over the stock strings on my Squier Bass VI. Eliminated the fret buzz on the low E. Stays in tune well. Highly recommended.

Was this only supposed to come with 4 strings?

Bought these fender bass strings to replace some string joy bass strings that I bought to replace some stings that were on my new used squire bass vi. Sorry for that. I love my Squier bass vi and after getting it did a set up and tried some of the hacks to address some tuning issues. I tried the bass vi strings thinking they would be an upgrade, turns out I didn't care for them they lacked warmth or low end and may have been a little to bright as well. I lived with them for a few months and switched again to the fenders. These strings return the bass or guitar to a more balanced sound,also all wound portions of the six strings are long enough to pass through the tuning pegs holes unlike the string joy. I'm happy and don't plan on splurging on the La Bella flat wounds which I bet sound great.

These work perfectly to get your Bass VI tuning up perfectly. Good quality, good price.

Low E unraveled while tuning in two different packs. Once might be a fluke, but two in a row is ridiculous. Low quality garbage.

Ottime corde, raccomando nel caso di un acquisto di uno Squier bass VI di cambiare le corde in tempi rapidi. Facendolo ho notato un aumento della qualità del suono. Conviene anche aspettare di fare il set up e far tutto avendo le corde nuove dato che hanno una dimensione diversa rispetto a quelle stock e son piu grosse.

I had bought my Squire Bass Vi 2nd hand which came with factory strings. The low E was a bit flappy and as I have a gig coming up got these in hope that it settled the issue and yes it does. Problem solved. Solid, sound good, still got that McCartney plop to it. Value for money compared to others. I ideally wanted flat wounds but the brightness can be tamed and the playability is superb. Dont pay attention to the haters, these strings slap!!!

Estas cuerdas deberían ser el estándar para cualquier Bass VI. Viniendo de tener 90 74 54 42 34 24, cambiar a 100 80 65 44 34 24 (los grosores reales de este producto, que al menos cuando lo compré tenía otros en la descripción) ha hecho que las tres últimas cuerdas suenen a un bajo con todas las de la ley, mientras las tres primeras siguen pudiendo servir como bajo delgado o como guitarra gruesa. Para mí son las mejores cuerdas que se pueden usar en este instrumento, con mucha diferencia.
