My kids had these eggs and I had to clean them up all the time. So I decided my grandkids needed a set.

Out of all the gifts my god-son received, he loves this one the most. It's a great way to introduce counting, numbers and colors to his learning brain!! One thing is for sure, we can no longer keep the real egg carton out of the fridge. That was a mess cleanup!

This product was purchased for my 2 year old grandson. He recognizes and name colors well but struggles with number recognition. We mix the eggs up and use them like a memory game and then also count the number of eggs he has gotten correct . Then we can add or subtract so that he can begin to understand number concepts. Great toyand learning enabler!

Unfortunately the actual company / factory that is making this product (as it is sold under many company names) is currently having difficulties in making them correctly. So half the eggs do not stay closed. I have purchased ones in the past without this problem. And currently I have purchased this product under several name brands and had the exact same problem with all of them. Hopefully the factory can get this corrected before they all get a bad rep, because the product idea and design is good other than that.

My only thought about them, that might have made it better was to have each color a different shape inside in stead of just pegs and holes!

My daughter loves these. She has learned her colors and loves to count them. Plays with then all day. Beware kids may want to play with real eggs if ur cooking. Speaking from experience!

Great toy for all ages! Bought this as a gift for my one year old niece. She and all of her siblings love it and play with it constantly.
