My mother knows enough about computers to turn them on, search Google, and email links to cat videos. For anything else she usually calls for help, and sometimes I have to remote in using TeamViewer if that isn't enough. She recently moved to a new place that has wi-fi but her simple little desktop PC didn't have a WNIC. So I bought this and had it shipped to her, figuring worst case scenario she can return it, or hang onto it until I'm in her neck of the woods to install it. Well I called to ask if she got the package, fully expecting to walk her through removing the case, finding the available PCIE slot, screwing it in, installing drivers, etc. but nope. She decided to take a crack at it herself without ever having installed computer hardware of any sort in the past, and got herself up and running in no time. So yeah, it does its job and she's on the Internet again, and is super easy to install.

Product arrived on my doorstep, plugged it into a Gigabyte A320 motherboard running Linux Mint 20 (which is officially less than supported based on the product page) and it worked immediately. No extra driver installs or anything, just plug and play! That was nice as I was already gearing up to go driver hunting, but some research reveals the drivers for it are part of the Linux kernel, and have been for some time now. Low profile is good as I didn't have a lot of extra room left in the case, but it slotted right in without issue. Zero complaints!

Bought this for my desktop when I moved and didn't have access to ethernet for a time. Easy physical install into my case, and easy driver install. Mostly consistent wireless performance. Had some noticeable, but ultimately infrequent drops in performance. It did what it needed to.

I recently purchased a second one of these for another pc project . I use them in both Windows 10 and Linux and they work great, also a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Needed a quick and inexpensive solution for a temporary location in the house and am happy with what I received. Installation took under 2 minutes including the shutdown/boot times and Windows 10 build 1803 had the drivers loaded instantly upon the first boot. Getting over 100Mb down with some substantial LOS issues so I am happy enough with the performance. Haven't had a chance to test Linux kernel compatibility yet but I'll give it a tentative 5 stars. Also included a low-profile bracket if you have such a chassis.

Didn’t know this brand but took a chance based on positive reviews. Very nicely made, easy to install. Two adjustable antennae to grab the best signal from router. Windows 10 recognized the card immediately and so no drivers (included on a mini cd) were needed. Performance has been perfect, great speed, no dropped signal.

Had this wifi card for about a month, And while it definitely works, the signal is weak and I couldn't really recommend it for anything more than basic web-browsing, which even then it seems a little iffy from time to time. If you're using it for simple tasks, then i can recommend it! But if you want to play video games, or if you are far from your internet router, invest in something a little more worthwhile.

Now you may see the $20 price point and ask yourself if this is a good option. I was building a pc on a budget and just got finished yesterday and I was amazed at how simple to install this wifi card was and connected to my internet with no problem. My room is upstairs in my house and the router is downstairs and it was getting a signal just as fine as being downstairs. This wifi card is probably going to be the best option other than the USB wifi drives. But overall I’m a satisfied customer.
