Plush, Cozy, and Sturdy.
Value is a 10/10 to me.Padding with such a soft fabric feel is as good as you'll ever get on a chair in this price range. You can adjust the resistance of backwards tilt so much so that you barely have to use any pressure to lean backwards (this is a good thing).Armrests have plenty of cushion and it feels like it will hold up quite a while.Assembly is very easy and straightforward and the parts are very high quality from what I can tell. (the base is solid metal)My only gripe is the screw hole covers don't stay clipped in for some holes and the wheels can be hard to move on carpet, however that can be resolved by spending another $15 or so on better wheels. (the clips also aren't a huge deal, it looks just fine without them and doesn't hinder anything structural)(review was made after 3 days of frequent use)

Absolute Junk !!! Both arm rest have broken off base, Nothing to hold back upright.
As stated the chair is well built and comfortable. The only three negatives are the casters and the piston slowly sinks. I am far from being over the weight limit. I am 6โ5โ and 285lbs. Could have spent a few dollars more on better quality casters. My chair sits on hard wood floors. You would think should have no issues. These casters are a cheap plastic that does not roll well even on natural old style hard wood floors. They do mar the floor, wears the finish down. Cannot imagine what they would be like on carpet. As to add to my review. I crashed and burned. I leaned a little to my right and the chair was now it two pieces. I hit the floor and have the bruises to show for it. I have the ability to look at anything and tell myself I can fix that. A 12โ x 3/4โ black nipple, an 8โx 2โ nipple and a 2โ flange. I welded the 3/4โ pipe and 2โ pipe to the seat base and placed the flange on the 2โ pipe and allowed it to rotate on the five caster base. I did not weld the flange to the base so the seat still rotates. Seat is now so stable and should never break again. Downside is the three pipe items were $33.00 at my big Orange Store. Thought there were only two issues, wrong now a third issue. The bracket that the right armrest bolts to has broken sway from the particle board. Board is crumbling away so nothing to anchor two. The only plus is that the cloth is great. Will not split like the cheap leather.

Super comfortable, but not really all that wide.
First off, I love love love this chair. It's very comfortable, plush, and sturdy. The fabric cover is soft and the cushioning is thick. I was looking for something that would stay comfortable for long gaming sessions on my computer and this delivers. It's honestly my new favorite chair. Having said that, there are a few small things that I feel could be improved upon:The armrests are on the low side, so if you're looking for arm support because you use your keyboard a lot, then I'd highly recommend some padded armrest covers to add a little height. As others have said, it does feel like the seat is tilting slightly down toward the front a little bit (a little like you're going to slide out), but being fabric covered makes this a non-issue. Just be aware that it does feel slightly tilted toward the front. I like to sit with one leg under me so it's kind of a nice feature this way.The seat back tilt is very tight and if you want to lean back in it, you're pretty much going to have to keep pushing back on it constantly. There is no leaning back and relaxing while the chair stays in place. Finally, for a "big and tall" chair, it's very skinny. My last chair was a normal sized chair, and the seat was much wider than this one. Which is honestly fine with me as I like a tighter chair, but if you're buying this for the "big" part instead of the "tall" part, then you may want to look at something else because it's fairly narrow.

good quality, comfortable, tall chair get this one
Before my review know that I am 6'8" and 290 lbs. Also I opted to buy multi-surface wheels purchased separately from this item. I love these wheels and recommend them.First assembly. The instructions for assembly are skimpy and the images so poor that I had to disassemble and reassemble my chair twice. The first was attaching the arms, backrest and seat. The second attaching the seat to the base. My tip for assembly is look for the tiny stickers on parts and instructions closely to help prevent these issues. The last issue I had was due to the wheels I used. I needed channel locks and padding ( to prevent damage) to get them into the base. Now for my experience with use. I really like thus chair. It adjusts to my height so that I do not need to cross my legs or sit at odd angles. The chair of course goes lower but I use at maximum height. The chair is overstuffed and very comfortable. I do experience some numbness if. I'm my butt and legs occasionally but never any back pain. The chair is warm, not sure how that will play out in summer but I tend to produce a lot of body heat if you are similar be advised get a fan. The back and seat are linked by the arms, so the entire chair tilts rather than the back rest leaning separately from the base which I prefer. That said the balance of the chair makes it hard for me to tilt back. The seat is shorter than my old chair. My center of balance is therefore forward on the chair. Still the chair seat is also over stuffed too so I find the desire to tilt happens less. Plus my legs hit the underside if my desk when I tilt adding discomfort that isn't the chairs fault just wished to explain. Finally I recommend this chair. I had issues with shipping it took about a month to arrive for me. That said, I recommended this chair to a friend and after looking and sitting in it to test she bought one too. Hers arrived in a little over a week so it seems shipping varies I did order at peak shipping time near Christmas. If you are looking for a good quality, comfortable, tall chair get this one. The seat is not super wide nor long so I left big out on purpose.

still undecided but leaning towards "no"
I just received this chair Friday night and got it put together yesterday after letting it air out some. There is a very strong chemical/new furniture smell that has yet to dissipate and gives me a headache. Putting it together was not difficult as I did it by myself (single, 40 y/o female), but it would have been easier with an extra set of hands. The directions are not necessarily the most concise as there are only a few pictures with corresponding letters to the parts and not numbered steps, but it's easy to figure out. The chair looks beautiful and as though it is extremely comfortable but it's not really. It certainly makes you sit properly that's for sure! It only reclines if you are able to push off something as I saw other reviews say. I also read other reviews that say that you feel as though you're sliding forward which is absolutely true! If the seat wasn't material you probably would, but because it is, I end up with my pants a little higher up than I'd like them to be. =) My clothes sticking to the material is definitely something that is bothersome. There is a lot of cushioning in the headrest area and towards the front of the seat, but the back of the seat where it's needed most flattens out when sitting on it. It actually seems to be making my lower back hurt. The armrests are great and nicely padded. The metal parts are truly metal and not plastic and it rolls really well (the wheels are plastic). I was concerned the material would become hot because I live in Arizona and it is currently 110 degrees outside, but with most everything if you stay in the AC it's not bad. I don't see this being a true "big and tall" chair which I chose because I like to sit with one foot tucked under the other leg or cross-legged. I can do that in this chair but there isn't as much room widthwise as I would like despite having narrow hips. I'm 5'4" and I can only put the balls of my feet on the floor with the height of the chair maxed. The height is really good in comparison to my desk and monitors. Overall, I'll see how it goes this week and if anything improves as I get used to it. I sit at my computers A LOT because I work full-time from home and I'm in an online school. I HAVE to have something comfortable!Update: hate the chair! It is really uncomfortable and it has spent more time in my living room waiting to be taken apart. However, I just realized that you have to pay to return the 50 lb box! Not happy!

Two serious design issues with the chair and how to fix them: Read on
Hello good people of the planet. This chair has 2 design issues which can make this chair unusable for alot of people.1) Alot of people complaining about the chair being too far forward is a real issue. The issue is actually not necessarily the frame but due to the overfilling in the head rest. This can be a problem for people who are medium height and whose head lands right in the middle of the head rest. If you're tall and your head gets all the way top, this likely won't be an issue. This can give you neck pain because the neck angle is forward instead of being straight.2) The filling in the seat is inadequate to a point that there was a big gap in the seat cushion within 3 months with few hours a week usage. I'm 5 8", 140lbs. So you can well imagine the quality of the filling. I could feel that frame underneath and couldn't even sit on it without a pillow or another cushion.I contacted the seller and they offered to give me 1/3rd of the price of the chair. So much for customer service. So I decided to take it in my own hands. On the head rest, I split open the seam and pulled out the filling fibre/wool to a point that my head rest is almost flat now and its wayyy more comfortable that I can even nap on it now. I opened the seam on the seat cushion and took all the extra filling from the head rest and put it into the gaps (look at the photos) where the seat cushion was broken. Be careful not to cut the fabric when opening the seam. Just pull the seam apart with force and slowly cut few threads that're holding it together so that the gap is enough for you to put your hand through it.Once you're done, just take a needle and thread and sew it up. For the people who don't own a needle & thread, get one at the dollar store. Since its in the crease, it doesn't show and the chair is much more usable now. The whole process doesn't take more than 15mins but its worth it guys!Btw the chair color, fabric is nice and frame is sturdy. All the best!(Due to poor design & poor attitude of the seller, giving it 2 stars)

Great chair!
Just the facts ma'am...1. Chair came several days early. Well packaged and protected in it's large box.2. Easy to assemble, 12 Allen bolts, small tool provided. 20 (with helper) to 40 minutes assembly time.3. Bought this chair to replace a bossin chair I just bought. Missed the rocking function which the bossing I got didn't have. Also bossin wasn't very well padded. As my bossin was, this chair is rated at 400lb. I'm 6' 1" @ 300lbs. This chair is much stouter than the bossin at every turn. Not slamming bossin, it's good, but this one is clearly a better chair, and it costs much more too...4. This chair is very well padded and feels GREAT! The only thing I would change about this chair is I would probably make the seat 3 to 5 inches longer.5. I sure wish there was a place we could all go and try these chairs out to find that perfect fit. That being said I can't say enough good about this chair, very comfortable, feels so good with all the nice padding the rocking function which I missed so much. I Highly recommend this chair!

Worth every penny!
Now, I'm not big enough where I need this chair (6'1", ~200lbs), but this was the only high quality FABRIC chair that I could find. Real leather isn't worth it, and pleather/bonded leather will fall apart in a few years. There's only a couple of other brands on here that still make decent looking fabric chairs, but there was something about them that didn't do it for me. Whether it was things being made out of plastic instead of metal, cushions that don't look thick, a back that isn't high enough, or all three - I didn't want to invest in that. This chair has ridiculously thick and comfortable cushions, the arm rests (underneath the thick padding, that is) and legs are metal, the back is high, and it's built for 400lb loads, which means it "should" be of higher quality than the other brands - and so far, that appears to be the case.I read some reviews where people had trouble reclining, but as long as you turn the knob on the bottom of the chair (loosen it all the way), reclining is extremely easy. This is an extremely solid, well built chair, and I'm very happy with it. Assembly was quick and easy, and the packaging was VERY nice. The amount of padding that every component came in was crazy. Great job keeping this chair protected during transport!
