3 Pounds (lbs) of Fresh Oval Kumquats Farm Grown in Southern California

I should preface that because these came in WAY FASTER than I had anticipated (when comparing to the original ETA that I was provided), and was so overjoyed to have these before I went on vacation, that I forgot to take a photo of the shipment itself so my apologies for the lack of photos on this one. I ordered these on April 22 for both nostalgic reasons and because I missed having them. Was supposed to wait about 1-2 weeks, but the box arrived within just a few days from ordering it so I was completely caught off-guard but was totally over-joyed that it arrived as quickly as it did. The box arrived safely and in great condition with all of the fruits being perfect. Most of them were still attached to the leaves, and they were properly wrapped with paper layers giving them just enough cushion to be sent properly to remain fresh and avoid ripening too fast avoiding mold. Not only were they completely fresh and tasty, the 3# box (which looked small, but occupied my entire mailbox) lasted me a whole month easily with no fruits going bad! (Stored them on the counter for the first week, then the fridge for the remaining time.) While I had a friend who was coming in from California and he could have brought some to me, ordering these online was definitely the way to go. The amount I got was definitely worth every penny especially for how long they lasted. My friend enjoyed them, too, and was so happy to have them while visiting! My only gripe about this product is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to ask to be notified when a new batch is available (during the season.) I'm hoping Amazon will add a feature to "be reminded" to purchase these again especially from this seller as they definitely know how to handle these and get them out fast and proper! Thank you!! (PS - The green fruits are fresh sour plums in case you were wondering. 😅)

They are fresh tasting and clean. I’m surprised at the quality and how fast they shipped. This is te second time I’ve purchased kumquats through Amazon and I’m looking forward to my next purchase.

Maybe 6 ounces were actually edible out of the whole bag. Insane cost for how little you can actually eat.

They always arrive in a very carefully packed box. They’re a little bit sour, but I just love kumquats! I thought they were out of season by now.

The kumquats are sweet and delicious. Unfortunately they were poorly packaged and not protected from freezing. They were wet and some were mushy. The flavor is delicious, it’s just unfortunate that they were not packaged better.

THEY WERE PERFECT; THEY WERE SHIPPED WITH TENDERNESS (WHICH I ALWAYS APPRECIATE), AND THEY STARTED TO DISAPPEAR IMMEDIATELY, OF COURSE, ONTO MY PLATE WITH ABOUT EVERYTHING! THEN, A GREAT IDEA STRUCK! WHY NOT PRESERVE SOME OF THEM IN SYRYP? WHY NOT, I THOUGHT TO MYSELF. SO, I PURCHASED "MONIN" SYRUPS; HIBISCUS; PASSION FRUIT; WHITE PEACH, AND MANGO. THEN I PURCHASED SOME HISBISCUS FLOWERS. DELISIOSO!! THEY ARE EXQUISITE! MAKE A SIMPLE SYRUP; BLANCH THE KUMQUATS 3 TIMES STAGGERED (15 MINUTES; 10 MINUTES; 5 MINUTES) COOLING DOWN IN BETWEEN. THEN MAKE THE SYRUP; ADD THE SYRUPS (8 TBSP EACH OR TO TASTE) WITH ANOTHER 3/4 CUP OF SUGAR. ADD A FEW HISBISCUS FLOWERS AND IF PREFERRED, A FEW CARDEMOM SEEDS. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL WHEN THEY ARE DONE; THEY HAVE A LOVELY ORANGE COLOR, WITH A GORGEOUS CANDIED APPEARANCE, AND THE TASTE IS TO DIE FOR, BUT PLEASE DON'T, THEN YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO EAT THE REST. YOU WON'T REGRET THIS PURCHASE!!

I am absolutely satisfied with my order of Kumquats! I haven't had them since I was a kid. They're hard to find in my part of Texas. Thank you!
