The 365 Self-Discovery Journal: One Year Of Reflection, Development & Happiness (Writing Journals to Write in for Women and Men)

I used this book as a daily journal prompt for one year straight, as intended. I previously struggled to write anything which caused much of a mind shift or that promoted self growth, so I started each day by answering the question in the book. I noticed several grammatical errors, but it was still content that made me think and ponder on myself, which is what I wanted.It would also be fun to do this as a couples exercise or something with a best friend – to read the question and then chat about it together.

I have been journaling for seven years. My youngest daughter got me started when she was preparing to go off to college. I had instigated the daily routine for her when she was going through a challenging period in her life. Having been a stay-at-home dad for fifteen years, she rightly assumed that I would go through a considerable transition as an empty nester. Having been raised by a father who is an inventor with many awarded patents, she observed the roller coaster ride of my creative development period versus my business pursuits whereby journaling could help me find a work/life balance. It has indeed. Your journal has the most thought-provoking prompts which I greatly rely on as well as limited-entry areas, forcing me to be clear and concise in my writing.

I have been using this journal on a daily basis, one question a day, for a month. Plus, I have looked ahead through many of the questions.Pros: interesting questions; thought provoking that touch on a broad spectrum.Half a page per question was perfect for what I wanted - provoking more writing than just a list or a few phrases, but not the overwhelming full blank page.Cons: seriously, this is what prompts me to write this review. The quality of the publishing is pathetic.THE FONT IS BLURRY, THE PAPER IS CHEAP AND THE FORMATTING IS SKEWED, so that there are occasional pages with one or two lines and then blank spaces. It's as if it was created with a cheap word processing program, converted to another program and nobody proof read it to catch the reformatting errors.If this book cost a third of the price it would be a great buy for the content, but the printing quality is disappointing.

I purchased this book to start writing each day and I love it. I still don't make it every day but the prompts really make you think. The little quotes in there are a nice little inspiration as well. There are enough lines on the page to fully respond to the prompt for the day. I would use this seller again for future journals.

I got this book as a gift! It’s the size of a normal book! Very nice and she loved it! She’s been struggling with postpartum depression. She writes in it ever day! Says it’s helping a lot!

I love the daily questions that make me think about stuff I don't. It's an everyday time out for me now.

some of the pages seem repetitive but is very thought provoking
