Slip into Nina's Culver kitten heel shoe for instant glam . It features a rich satin upper, pretty pintucks over the twisted design of the vamp, and a flirty open toe. Pair them with pretty party dresses or any evening attire for an always-appropriate classic look. Nina Footwear is one of the few family-run fashion companies in the shoe business. In the early 1950s, Mike and Stanley Silverstein were strolling around New York when they saw a woman walk by in wood bottom sandals. They asked her about where she had bought them, and when she named a chic boutique in the city, the two brothers knew the time was right to launch their reinterpretation of the clog -- a sexy, platform slide with a wood stiletto-like heel. It was this simple slide that launched Nina Footwear. Today, Nina's sexy, well-priced shoes are widely featured in fashion magazines. A favorite of the "splurge vs. steal" columns, Nina is frequently shown as the only fashion item under $100 along side of shoes priced from $300-$700. Review: Perfect dressy pump - This shoe fits like a dream and is lovely. I got it to go with a dark red dress for a fall wedding and it will be ideal; it matches almost perfectly and also goes with a silk shell I have for a black suit. The shoe has a soft luster to the fabric just as named, is well made, has a mid-heel height and was comfortable from the first time I put it on. I have always found Nina shoes to run a bit narrow so the medium width is perfect even with the open side and toe; I have no feeling that I will slide out of it because the heel is snug. Well worth the money in whatever color for a dress shoe. Review: Loved this shoe, but . . . - This style was my favorite, but didn't buy it because it hurt the right side of my foot just under both pinky toes. It also would not stay on, slipped off, because of the open side on the inside. I believe it is because I needed a narrower fit. You only offered the "B" width. I usually wear a "B" width shoe, but your shoes seem to run larger than most. My twin sister also tried it on and it also hurt her foot in the very same place it hurt min. I went with the Criana style. Not as classy as the Culver, but equally as beautiful and it didn't hurt my feet and it stayed on while walking.

Perfect Size
I am 5' 2". I wear a wide 7. It is very difficult to find this size. I took a chance at order the 7W. This was a perfect fit. Very comfortable. Order came on time. The shoe is satin black. Beautiful. Thank you NINA. I love your shoes. I will order again.

Pretty, but ouch!
I love the lines and the look of these shoes, plus the hard-to-find bright yellow color was exactly what I needed. I received lots of compliments on them when I wore them to a rehearsal dinner. The downside is that they were not terribly comfortable. The toe opening rubbed right on the cuticle of my big toe. When I wore them around the house to break them in a little, I noticed that they were rubbing up and down on my heels. So on the night I wore them, I used those gel strips that you stick in the back of the shoe (heel grips). This may have been a mistake, as I ended up with two blisters on the inside of my heels from the gel strips rubbing on them. Maybe they run a tad large, but I always wear a 7 1/2 in Ninas and could not have worn a 7 in these. They are beautiful shoes, great if you are not going to be doing much walking around or dancing!

Shoe Disaster
I have several pairs of Nina evening shoes in different styles and have never had a problem with any of them; these were the sad exception. They are beautiful shoes and looked great with the gown for my son's wedding, and when I tried them on the first time, they seemed to fit fine. When I put them on again to measure the hem of my gown, the heels seemed to be slipping a bit. I didn't think it was a problem; I thought they just needed a small pad, which did seem to work at first. When I put them on the third time to "break them in" a bit before the big day, they got looser and looser in the heel the more I walked. Additional pads didn't make much of a difference. Taking tiny steps didn't help. Since it was too late to go shopping for different shoes, I wore them for the pictures and the ceremony (walking very carefully) and then changed to an old pair of evening shoes for the dancing and reception. A disappointment and a waste of money.

Beautiful shoe but fit is terrible!
I ordered four pairs of this shoe in four sizes for my daughter's wedding and none fit well. I wear a 6 B but this pump was so long I could fit my index finger between the back of my foot and the shoe. The 5-1/2 B was still too long and the 5 M was the proper length but extremely tight . So I ordered a 5 wide hoping that would remedy the problem. It was still too tight! Eventually, I just bought heel pads for the 6. The width was fine but the shoe was still a little loose. Although it is a beautiful shoe it is not comfortable to wear for hours on end and especially for dancing the night away. Fortunately, I had stashed a more comfortable pair of shoes under the table at the reception to change into for dancing.

Love these shoes!
These are perfect with my dress for the rehearsal dinner the night before my daughter's wedding. The heel height is just right for me. Not too high! The fabric and quality are very nice. I usually wear a 7 and that's what I ordered. I might could have used the 6.5 in these since they might be a tad long, but I'm going to use some foot pads and I think they will be fine.

Super Cute and Comfy!
I bought these for a wedding I was attending. The gold was a nice pale gold and the shoes looked lovely with my dark red dress. I could also see me wearing these with dark jeans and a nice shirt for going out on the weekend. I got a ton of compliments and my feet didn't hurt at all at the end of the day, thanks to the low heel. I love these shoes and I'm so glad I bought them.
