Grover's Eight Nights of Light (Sesame Street) (Pictureback(R))

Bought for my 21-month old son. While the story is a bit advanced for his age, he enjoys listening to me read it and is engaged by the included menorah poster (printed on paper) and menorah candles (printed on thin cardboard and perforated).Tip: I laminated the menorah poster and candles to make them more durable and added Velcro to the back of the candles, which allows my son to position the candles, and they'll stay in place. I hope to use the laminated set again next year.

Cute to introduce a young child but not a tool to explain the significance.

Ok the story is cute, but the execution is lacking horribly! The game and sticker placement is rubbish. The game has no rules and the poster falls out of the book. The stickers are on the center and BOUND in to the book. They should have been a tear out page in the back there should have been a sleeve to store your pieces for the game in with instructions. For little kids, I feel like they expect you to throw the book away when your done. I was super disappointed and if I wouldn't feel guilty as I did read it to my kids, I'd send it back, because this book was that poorly executed. Just a waste of money due to all the extra parts of the book.

We loved this book. It isn't for a 6 year old to read. It is a however a great read being read by the grown-up. My little loved this book. We loved the cut outs and will be using it again next year.

this is one of the best value hanukkah books I've ever come across! Good story, Fantastic stickers in the middle of the book, and at the end there is a big fold out menorah with candles you can put on each night! Definitely plan to send this as gifts to more ppl next year! Highly recommend! All ages would enjoy this! (used this for 18 mo old, 4 yr old)

Way too many words and concepts. My 4 year old couldn’t pay attention after the first couple of pages. Would be good for an older child however Sesame Street is for a younger crowd.
