Munchkin® Arm and Hammer Nursery Fresheners, Assorted Scents of Lavender or Citrus, 5 Count

We have a small linen closet that also has a dirty clothes hamper in it. So, I was looking for something to get rid of the odor. Pro or con - depending on your preference - they have a slight scent when you open the package, but you don't smell the scent after that....like when you open the closet door (which I prefer). Pro - they work great at eliminating odor. They may be mini size, but they are mighty! I have found that other scented brands can have an over-powering smell that overwhelms me when I open the door, and doesn't do as good a job at eliminating the odor. Con - there is no adhesive for sticking. Although you could probably use command strips or something like to hang. My work around was to place two in my closet - one on the edge of the top shelf, and one on the edge of the bottom shelf, where they won't get bumped or moved. I think these would work well in larger closets too, you would just need to use more depending on the closet size, and make sure you space them out for maximum coverage. I don't know yet if it will last the full 90 days, I'm hoping to get at least 30 days. So far, I think this is a great find, and it's doing what I need it to do. I would recommend this product.

I read the reviews before ordering but never expected these to be only about two and a half inches across. So if you buy these expect to have to use two. I did not stick them on anything because I don't think they will last that long. I wanted to use these in my disabled husband's room to freshen it up. Should have just poured some Arm and Hammer in a bowl and placed it out of the way. Trust me, one of these are not the kind that works for diaper pails either. I repeat, these do NOT fit the Munchkin diaper pails. I suppose you could put one of these in a drawer to help keep clothes smelling fresh but any bar soap can serve the same purchase and then wash with the soap when you need it. I'll just buy boxes of baking soda for the room. Flowery smells don't work for me either so wall plug ins aren't the answer either. Each disk is shrink wrapped but all the baking soda disks had places missing in them. They say they're fragrant but I really couldn't tell one from the other. I don't plan on purchasing again. Just don't see that they have any use.

The image looks EXACTLY like the Arm& Hammer deodorant pucks that came with the Munchkin Step Diaper Pail. The description states "Great for diaper bags, diaper pails,... " Unfortunately, the parenthetic warning "(not for use as a replacement in the lid of Munchkin Diaper Pails)" is buried at the end of the same bullet touting that these are appropriate and "Great" for diaper pails—with the text split between two lines, and the word "not" on a separate line from "for." Nothing mentions that they make a miniature version that looks the same in photos as the one that fits the item that you named in the search bar. The measurements are almost unnoticeable. The numbers "1.97 x 1.97 x 0.79 inches" are down the page, next to Product Dimensions—adjacent to the item's Best Sellers Rank of "#1 in Diaper Pail Deodorizers." Again, here's the problem: THEY'RE THE WRONG SIZE! THEY'RE TINY! THEY DON'T FIT THE MUNCHKIN STEP DIAPER PAIL! And the warning is hidden in the listing. If you're the type of consumer that has the time and focus to carefully comb through an Amazon page looking for a product's carefully hidden booby-traps, then you might catch this. But if you're the type of consumer that's likely to shop for diaper pail related products—that is, a frazzled parent raising an infant during a pandemic, short on sleep and with a reduced attention span—then there's a good chance that you might miss this buried lead. C'MON AMAZON! This has been called to your attention before, by approximately 10% of the reviews. Your well-disguised, carefully-hidden language, written by lawyers for the purpose of maintaining deniability, isn't working for a significant number of customers. Fix this.

I bought these as a way to freshen my car. They fit perfectly in the holders and smell great as well as being all natural. However, they don't smell very strongly (which can be a positive in some people's situations) which is a negative for me. I have to use at least three just to get a whiff of anything in my car. However, my friends tell me my car just smells "clean" but my car is still relatively new and taken care off. I will agree that it will just simply deodorize the car but I prefer to have a light whiff of lavender or citrus but to no avail. This leads me to it's next downfall. The package says assortments of citrus and lavender but none of them smell like lavender and there is no indication as to which one is which scent. This leads me to believe that it is simply a mixture of citrus and lavender in each but that the lavender is just not strong at all. I am glad that I purchased them but I will be looking for a better option in the future until them these seem like my best bet at an all natural, non-overpowering solution to a car freshener. I really wanted these Munchkin Arm & Hammer Nursery Fresheners to work because the idea is great, especially for a nursery where diaper odors can quickly become noticeable. Unfortunately, these just did not work well for us. I was hoping they would help keep the area smelling fresher and make a noticeable difference with everyday nursery odors, but I really didn't notice much of an improvement while using them. For a product specifically designed as a nursery freshener, I expected the scent and odor-control aspect to be more effective. I do like the concept. The small size makes them convenient for using around a nursery without having a large air freshener sitting out, and a multipack gives you several to use in different areas. Unfortunately, convenience doesn't mean much if the product isn't actually making a noticeable difference. I also don't expect an air freshener to completely eliminate strong diaper odors. That's unrealistic. But I do expect it to help freshen the surrounding area, and these simply didn't do enough for me to feel like they were worth continuing to use. I wanted to like these because they're such a practical idea for parents, but based on my experience, I wouldn't purchase them again. There are plenty of baby products that became staples in our house, but unfortunately these weren't one of them. For us, the actual odor-freshening performance just wasn't there.

I've purchased these three times for myself and others. They're small and cute. Great for throwing into shoes, the bottom of a trash can, in a backpack, in your car, or a gym bag. The scent is very faint, but works well.

Little pricey but perfect for the baby diper garbage. Makes the poop smell go away. Wish there was more arm hammer stuff in germany.

I use these for my diaper genie and just use 3m tape on the back to keep it on. I find these keep the smell away a lot better than what comes with the diaper genie. They don’t keep all the smell away but it’s so much better then it was before I got these!
