Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Wonderful bluetooth smart lock. Stable structure with two long solid screws and many standard size screws. Installation wasn't too hard. I can easily install the keyless lock in place of my existing doorknobs.Only in front of the lock I can set the valid password for my tenant. Of course I always wonder why they don't include an extra handle, but my old handle is not bad. I have some question during the process of use the App, thanks to the customer service is patient to provide the solution for me, so nice! Totally, use it for more long time I will constanly to update my review！

See UPDATE for more info: I purchased two of these with the intent to use for both entrances. I installed one, and it broke during the installation, so thankfully I had the other one ready to go or I would have had to put the old deadbolt back on. Installation is relatively easy if you already have a deadbolt. They provide all the hardware for the bolt, which is actually overkill because I imagine most people are using this to replace a mechanical deadbolt. That said, what is terrible about this is the instructions. They don't give you info on the app, and I had to hunt it down in the app marketplace. In addition, the app itself is pretty confusing/not well laid out. Back to the installation, where I also went wrong is that there is a toggle you need to select on the inside of the lock to designate whether the door is left or right facing. The instructions aren't clear that one must determine this standing INSIDE, facing the door. I had it wrong and the door kept reading as locked in the app but the bolt wouldn't engage. I was ready to give up and started to return. When I started shopping for a new lock, I read other reviews on similar locks, and realized that I needed to switch the toggle that indicates whether it is left or right facing. I hadn't yet completely uninstalled and thank goodness because I switched it and it finally worked right. There are some other helpful installation hints if you search through reviews on similar locks, and I would highly recommend doing this so you can avoid common pitfalls because along those lines, the customer service is rather poor. I sent an email and explained what was happening, and the "help" was useless: Although I had fully explained in my email that the app wasn't communicating with the lock, rather than address my email, they kept asking me to send a video of what was happening. But again, reading other reviews finally resolved the problem. Also very misleading is that some of the reviews for this weren't even for this lock--clearly an attempt to bump up the ratings. I updated my review after I initially wrote it and had given it one star.Overall, as of the date I wrote this review, I paid $99 a piece for these locks (I also got a $5 coupon offer for one of them). Based on my extensive search, this was the best price out there for this type of lock (app driven, no keyhole with 9v battery backup), so the price offset might be worth working around some of the quirks.UPDATE: I ended up having to exchange both for two more, and none of them work. They are going back...the app is useless...it doesn't report use history as advertised. That is the a key feature/why I purchased to use for my airbnb. I need something reliable/this isn't. The "customer service" responded and asked if I wanted to exchange directly/not through Amazon, but then never bothered to respond to me! I have wasted hours trying to work these out, and cant tell you how annoyed I am...RUN--DON'T BUY!!!!!

It was easy to install if you're replacing a deadbolt lock, and even if you need to drill a new hole to install the included deadbolt, as long as you're handy it won't be difficult. It's very easy to create pincodes or eKeys for people with the Populife app. This is the perfect product for people with properties that need to give access to multiple people like an AirBNB or vacation home. Or if you want to keep your office or business property secure.

Had to do adjustments four times and it look three hours. There is a tiny switch in the inside too you need to make sure you switch if you want the automatic door locks. What is ridiculous is that we have a family of six! Only one person can be logged in at a time. If another person logs in to use the app a passcode can only go to one email and you need to retrieve it within 60 seconds. This is crazy to me that only one person can be logged in. It didn’t state that anywhere and I guess I should of read ALL the reviews. You can have a code for everyone but we all want to use the app. Think this will be a return after three hours of work. The top part where the batter goes flew out and had to adjust it back on.

Only one person can be logged into the app to lock and unlock the door. We are a family of 4 and my husband is the only person that can be logged in. When someone tries to use the app, we are logged out.In addition, my husband has to be near the lock in order to lock or unlock the door. If he’s working or not available, we’re out of luck.

Lock was a bit of a pain to install and get working perfectly but turned out great, used it for me garage gym access door for client use when I’m not home. Until a few weeks later I opened the app and the lock was no longer assigned. Couldn’t reconnect due to the lock thinking I wasn’t the admin, this happened to all devices using the lock. Reached out to the company on multiple fronts for help with zero results.Update: company finally reached out to me, after explaining the issue they helped me reset the computer and said it deleted the lock ID from the app by accident after the recent update. Now it works pretty good and don’t have much to complain about anymore. I use it for my garage gym to allow access to a small crowd of clients and seems to be working as advertised

Good looks earn 2 starsNo quality checks, i tried 2 locks; first one did not work (bad Bluetooth), second lock worked 8 days. Bluetooth quits and not connect to phone (reset....etc....)=this means lock codes can not be generated or deleted.Locking pedestal is not easy to install if you are not handy person...see picture (extremely small screws).

After less than a year the lock has failed. We replaced batteries and it stopped working. We tried to reset the lock and re-install it but nothing helps, now it only beeps and does not close/open. The new batteries have drained from 100% to 30% in 2 days. Cannot get any support. The FAQ is useless
