Herman MillerAeron Size C (Three dots) Replacement Seat

This fit my type-c Aeron chair perfectly, and hopefully will last 25+ years like the original did. Excellent buy!

Found a video online showing how to replace the seat pan, which looks simple enough. Unfortunately, the factory must have set the bolts so tightly that when I finally got them to budge, it stripped the metal insert right out of the seat pan and I still could not get it loose from the bolts. Had to take in to local HM repair place and they had the right tools to get it loose and installed the new seat pan. Product is outstanding, just not so simple to replace if the side bolts are cranked in too tight. Other than this annoying aspect, it is a very simple fix.

3-4 months in on a size c, I’m 6’6 320lbs and it’s held it’s rigidity and elasticity the entire time. I bought my aeron with the seat pan already broken, so this was a risk and I’m glad I took it. Feels great and comfortable compared to my older one of course. Again, not sure if it’s genuine but at this point it doesn’t matter.

I recently moved and the movers cracked the seat pan of my Aeron chair. I was dreading paying nearly fifteen-hundred dollars to replace the chair. After some research online, I discovered I could repair it myself! Thank you Herman Miller for making such a durable and repairable product!This replacement was a perfect fit and incredibly easy to install. I saved well over a thousand dollars going this route!

I had no idea just how sad and worn out my old seat was until the new one arrived. Like a whole new chair! Super easy to install. Highly recommend.

The seat fit perfectly. Simple replacement process. Chair was in a dumpster with a cracked seat. With the new seat, I have a great news chair at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
