This is my second Spiked collar for him. The first was a Croc collar and I would say this is on the same level as the previous collar. I like that it covers a large portion of his neck ( more then the previous collar) Both he and I are use to him wearing Spiked collars so the sharpness is good stuff!! He's had it for a few months and I have no complains what so ever. The spikes are actually rather pointed though and feel like they could possibly hurt my dog or someone else if they press hard enough. Also I failed to measure my dogs neck feeling a large would fit him. That's my bad, I can't fault the maker of the product on that point. It is what it is, a high quality leather collar with spikes, definitely meant for a larger dog though. With that in mind I'd recommend this for a dog with a large neck.
