Nice lights, good color
There are well made little lights. They are the kind with a small box that you can just lay on the ceiling, and a two pin, screw together wire connecting the fixture and the box. The box has knockouts on it, You will need some type of Romex clamp of some kind. The wires themselves within the box have the new push in connectors. you don't need wire nuts. This is great. There are 2 empty holes for wires in each connector. So if you were stringing these together I think you would need to add jumpers in the box with wire nuts. That could be a tight fit The lights have 2 very strong springs that fold down against the top of the ceiling. As you push these into the hole the springs pop into place and REALLY grab tight. You can get them to spin to direct the light beam. But you if you were to remove them, you would probably have to pull these out very carefully to not tear up the sheetrock hole, or loosen them from above. The fixtures rotate easily. They have a silver reflective interior that looks sharp. The beam is fairly wide and is not a SPOT beam. I have these over our kitchen island. The best thing is that the 2700K model of these lights have a very very natural tone. The light is identical to some nice halogens we had. I replaced some 3000k LED's with these. I first tried the 3000k lights but they really were too "blue/green" I took them out after just a few days. They are recessed very slightly but it is enough to make them not glare. My advice with LED's is to always start with the 2700K's. As I have yet to see one that is at all orange or too warm.. The 3000k's are on the other hand, are often too bluish or greenish.I think the green effect comes from the CRI level the accuracy of the light. The bezel is large enough to cover an y minor OOPS.

Excellent lights!
I've installed 27 of these lights so far in my house. I absolutely love them. I only had 2 small problems. One would blink every once in a while and one was shipped without a power supply but Cloudy Bay quickly took care of both for me and I have no complaints at all. These throw such a perfect natural light that I cannot tell they are LED. I have very sensitive eyes and most LED lights bother me, some actually give me a bad headache, but I truly can't tell these are LED's.I have them in my kitchen, master bathroom shower, master walk-in closet, and I just put 12 in my master bedroom that I'm remodeling. I hooked the ones in my bedroom to a dimmer and they dim perfectly. No flicker, no odd looking light. They throw the same color light only dimmer. I have all 12 connected to a Gosund Smart Dimmer Switch that is sold on Amazon, ASIN code B07QM72ZHK. Just search Amazon for B07QM72ZHK and the exact one I'm using will come up.

Light will burn out in a few months.
Easy install but lights will burn out quickly. I had them on for 6 hours a night and they burnt out

Great quality and price
I had a good experience with Cloudy Bay lights previously so I thought I'd try these recessed lights. I was not disappointed. They are very good quality and are very easy to install. The light is bright and matches the color of my other 3000k led fixtures. The gimbal adjustment is enough to highlight the artpiece on the wall and the fixture sits flush and tight against the drywall ceiling. It's nice that you don't have to deal with a can. My only nit is that they do not provide a template for the cutout. They only give you a diameter range and there is not a lot of room for error. The lights are well packaged and also very well priced for a four piece kit. I would buy these again.

Beautiful
Beautiful lighting effect. Makes any space look luxurious. Of the many brands I have installed, these make everyone the happiest. They have a wide flange to hide your attempt at cutting a circle in the drywall. They have the reflective backing for elegance. You can point them toward a painting or whatever. Best of all the specs on this website gave me all the advance info I needed. For example, they provided a list of compatable dimmers. Big help. Not all lights work with all dimmers - learned that the hard way. Plus you need a wide range dimmer to get maximum effect. For a 14' by 14' room, use 8 lights evenly spaced 30" from wall. You will love it.

Stylish little lights.
My dining room looks so modern now. I have other brands of gimbal downlights and they’re not as classy as these. I also have a set lighting the stairs and the TV wall. I’m not sure what kind of modern dimmer to use. They don’t dim well with a Wemo but they work just fine with an old school analog dimmer which is perfectly fine. Any suggestions on WiFi dimmers that work with this give me a shout. Other than that, I love these lights. The light output will make your space look like an art gallery, not too bright but focused light. You do need to pay attention to the light map because if they’re placed too far apart you will have dark spaces between lights, the beams should overlap but this is light planning 101. Installation is a breeze. It takes longer to run the wire than to connect them. You won’t be disappointed.

No can makes for really easy installation
This is my 37th unit installed in my ceiling. Forget the recess can It’s a thing of the past!!!If you have a concrete floor, the HVAC ducts and water pipes are in the attic. This makes it more of a challenge to get lights installed. The canless can usually be installed under air ducts and pipes because they are so thinFurthermore, you may encounter low roof rafters along exterior walls that will preclude installing cans. Of the 12 fixtures I installed in one room, all but 2 fixtures had to be canless fixtures due to limited headroom from low rafters, pipes and air ducts!! This affects the fixture pattern in the ceiling if you need to dodge these obstaclesAlso gimbal led can be used in flat ceiling and directed toward walls to minimize glare
