Nu Republic Jaxx 100 Wireless Earphones with Mic (Black)

UPDATE 17th Feb 2019 The replacement headphones are even worse!!! The battery doesn't charge to 100%! Max charge shown on it was 80% and lasted only for around 1 and half hrs! Disappointing purchase!!UPDATE 8th Feb 2019. The Appario retail seller is back and I'm returning my headphones for replacement. I really hope the battery life is better on the other one.Original review: I have absolutely no clue how these pair of headphones had all 5 stars when I bought them (there were about 10 reviews at that time)I've used this pair for quite a while now and I'm NOT at all happy with it.1. I couldn't feel the bass. I used Sony headphones in the past and most of their XB series are good, but they aren't durable. So I decided to give this a try.2. The ear pieces have 10 mm drivers. They keep falling off of ear when you workout or even jog. The ear hooks provided with them help a lot and keep it snug. But, they're painful af to use for an hr.3. The MOST important drawback, poor battery life. I'm aware of the fact that most Bluetooth headsets have a battery life of under 3 hrs no matter what they claim. But this is worse for people who use headphones for calls. When on call the headphones last exactly around 2 hrs. I have tested it for several days for phone calls, it would last 1hr 58mins,1hr 55mins, etc. Listening to music on full volume or watching YouTube videos make the battery last around 2-2.5 hrs only. On mid volume or lower, it is the same as well. I found no difference.They've packed quite a few accessories like most brands are doing nowadays. And hence the reason why it seems like it is a great deal, but trust me, at Rs 899, you'd better start researching more.I don't want to return it as there is no replacement option anymore after amazon's own Appario retail seller was removed, due to the stupid new e-retail policy. And the current price will be more through other sellers. If you decide to buy.P.S. Like everyone else I too fell prey to all the 5 star reviews, but if you do a little research there is another headphones from Nu Republic called Jaxx (this one is Jaxx 100). The reviews there suggested that this wasn't a good pair of headphones.Hope this review is helpful.

So, old earphone stopped working, a quick search online, an hour later, wireless earphone intrigue me. Most of the well-known companies have it priced usually more than 3k, okay, need a budget option, stumbled upon this as a new product launched in Amazon, plus a lighting sale at a cost of 900, too good to be true. So, with no expectation, bought it. Now, few days impression exceeds in a certain area and lack in certain. First, the presentation looks and feel like an expensive package, Good! Second, built quality, earbuds parts are built well with metal housing, will have to see after some months how it holds up, cannot be said the same for the volume and powers controls, made with flimsy plastic, below average. Third sound quality, as a user of mostly audio technica products, my ears have been spoiled with exceptional sound quality, now as soon I take off my M20x's and put on this earphones, the sound is just horrible, with high pitched and horrendous loud volume, but tuning down to a tolerable level and wearing it for half an hour will get your ear to get used to it and it seems all fine, that is unless you put back your better headphone and oh no, sounds average. Fourth, all the small annoying complains, the distance is nothing to look forward to :), if you're buying it for workouts, please stay away from this, it will not stay in your ear at all, I repeat at all, that is, if you're smart and take out your earbuds from your old earphones and replace it, it works okay. Just a simple task as walking and doing chores around the house will make it come out like your pull out game ;) but a quick fix is to use the included clip and attach it to the right side which houses the clunky controls, which will always off balance it and make it one-sided :D and clip to your collar or whatever your on. Now the main reason this thing is a no, no is for workouts is that of the clunky controls, it offsides to the one side and will never be balanced, below average like my grades, oh no. Goody things include a pouch, nice but it's small :( charging cable included, intense session of plugging the charger cable in because the control housing is weak af >:( Overall, it's okay. If you're a broke-ass college student this will just suffice it, but if you got the cold hard earned cash, may I suggest going for something more expensive. That's all........now waiting for it to get spoiled, I am pretty sure soon(intense flashbacks of buying cheap things, oh no)

the sound quality of these earphones is awesome, they have good bass and clarity is also nice, mic also works great and calls are really clear and the recipient can hear things clearly the battery usually last about 3-4 hrs which is the best in this price range all in all an awesome product.Go for it

The earphone is really a value for money product. The sound quality is decent considering the super affordable price. The accessories given along is nice with a protective case and ear fins. But it was useless for me as it would not pair with my Apple Watch Series 2 (paired with my iPhone/iPad fine), which was weird considering my two-years old BT earphones from SoundLogic did it effortlessly but the sound was not as good. I had no option but to give it away as a gift to my sister.

These earphones are just superb in thus price range. Sound quality is very good as compared to boat rockerz 225. Even the material is good. And they really do provide deep bass as promised. The noise isolation is also very good and the treble is very crisp. Only 2 of its cons are that, these earphones are not ipx waterpoof rated and the right side keeps falling off the ear as the controller is on right and is a bit heavy (anyway this issue can be solved with the help of wingtips provided with these earphones). They also provide a carry pouch which is quite tough and of good quality. So overall it is a thumbs up deal!!!

It gives a battery backup of almost 2 and a half hours, so I use this headphone whenever I go to travel by bike.Cons: Sometimes it gets internally disconnected from phone automatically when not in use and restart is the only way to fix this.
