Excellent gigabit PoE 8 port switch
The switch does its job of connecting and powering my network devices effortlessly. Definitely plug and play at its best. Bonus, the lights have the right amount of brightness to be easily recognized without overdoing it.

Extend cat 6 400ft
Direct bury cable to ubiquiti radio with minimal retries on data. Used Ubiquiti 48 to 24v converter at radio end. Work great!

Made IP camera work at 300+ft where regular POE switch could not go over 250ft
Made IP camera work at 300+ft over 24ga cat5e, when the DIP switch is set to 600 ft to compensate for voltage drop, where my prior regular 'high power" POE switch rated at 300ft could not power a camera over 250ft. This saved an install of several hundreds of dollars in conduit and cable that would have been useless without the extra little power boost.

Easy to setup. Poe on all ports.
I've used Poe injectors and Poe splitters for many years to power my outdoor cameras. This eliminates the use of additional hardware for most of my cameras. Less hardware means less maintenance. I have not used this switch for the advertised extended range, yet, but based on on using it over normal ranges, I have no doubt that it will work at or very near the 200 meter range.

Works great, runs cool & silent, well built
Worked great with 3 Poe PTZ cameras on 100' each cat6 runs. 1080p to a Vmix server, recorded & streamed for over 2 hrs with 0 dropped frames.

Resolved our issue. Still recommend best practices for all Poe
This unit resolved our issues on a longer run. We ran a Poe camera out past 240’ and we knew it was going to be an issue. This resolved the issue after trying a Cisco Sg500 series Poe switch.

Saves hundreds in wire cost, great value!
Used for an install of a POE camera system in a rural farm yard. Ran a single 700ft direct burial cat6 cable from the house to a pole with 3 cameras and one more in a shop 200 ft from the pole (power plug needed at the pole to power the switch). Works great with no issues so far (currently has been as cold as -20c). Second set of pole cameras is at 400 ft from the house with another switch. No issues there either.This device saved almost a thousand dollars in wiring costs by making a single run of cable possible to run 4 cameras at over 700 feet from the in home router.Highly recommended

Poe long range
Quick and easy install. Cat6 cable runs were longer than expected for my camera configuration. The POE long range provided the extra boost I needed. Video quality is perfect now !
