Safety and durability are great! Installation is tricky but doable for two people
We were convinced of the safety features this trampoline offers and were impressed by the 10 year warranty on everything. Springs tend to rust and wear out and kids fall through them, etc., which sets this trampoline apart from others. The Springfree website is the better resource for these aspects of the trampoline. The question for us was whether to pay for installation. We opted to build it ourselves, and looking back, I think two people could do it with at least one person with strong hands. We purchased the jumbo square, and it came in 3 boxes. We had one afternoon and one evening to get the trampoline installed before Christmas while my kiddo was away. It took my husband a couple of hours in the afternoon to put together the metal frame by himself while I took kiddo out. It was a straightforward process, but would have been easier with two people. I joined him in the evening after kiddo went to bed to insert the mat rods into the grooves on the mat itself. It's a little tricky at first, but once my husband got the feel of things, it went fast. The turning point for us was having my husband, the outside person, go under the mat to see how things line up. I suppose you could set up a camera to help with this part by yourself, but I did offer some elbow grease under the mat, as I had to pull with a lot of my weight to help get the rod in the right vicinity while my husband felt around from the outside for placement in the mat. Next came the net rods. The vertical rods are straightforward, but we had some trouble with the horizontal rods for a while. Some models of the trampoline have velcro enclosures, but ours (jumbo square) did not come with velcro. You're inserting the horizontal rods into a long narrow pocket that will run along the top of the net. That part is easy, like hanging curtains. But you have to insert the rod far enough to get the end of the pocket to slip over the end of the rod so it rests fully within the pocket with no risk of coming out. Because the net material is not very forgiving, we needed another tool to help us wedge the rod into the net far enough. We ended up using a bike lever tool because that's what was handy, but you might use anything that can withstand a lot of pressure. My husband used the tool to push the end of the rod as far as possible into the net to then be able to slip the other end into the net pocket. That was the hardest part for us. With the vertical rods, there was a distinct clicking noise that we waited to hear as we were installing each one to indicate that it was fully installed. Everything else was easy enough to follow along with the Springfree installation videos.

High Quality - Guaranteed Fun For All
Very high quality parts; clearly engineered and manufactured to last a long time and support the impressive warranty. This has become a hit for kids and adults alike! Highly recommended, and although expensive, it is clearly a "you get what you pay for" concept, so amortized over 10 years, is one of the better deals around. When calculated by the $/Bounce or Exercise/Hour, there is no comparison. Not a big deal to assemble, slightly time consuming, but satisfying. Lastly, the design which eliminates the injury-contributing springs on the inside of the unit is amazing; many other parents have fondly appreciated this, and looked to purchase it themselves.
