To us it tastes smooth and pleasant. We had recently purchased far more expensive high street coffee shop branded pods. They tasted rather bitter. We prefer these desertcart ones at a fraction of the price. These are of a fairly cheap construction and there is a dribble of water before the coffee comes out. The expensive ones are of better quality construction, and the coffee comes out immediately, but this doesn’t make up for the better value and smooth taste of these ones from desertcart. Review: Great coffee, rubbish pods ("intenso") - Have tried most if not all of the Decaf nespresso-compatible coffee on desertcart, this is definitely the nicest. Also haven't wasted a single pod through not fitting the machine correctly. Update: went for the stronger tasting decaf pods this time, the purple boxed "intenso". Lovely coffee for a decaf, great taste and strong flavour as promised. However the pods are rubbish! You end up with more liquid in the drip tray that's not made it through the pod, than you do in the cup.
