Cat Loves It!
I have a very picky cat. She loves gravy and will only eat her wet food if it has gravy. I found this Fancy Feast food and she begs for it! Amazing. Excellent Buy!

Chunks not Pate; Au just not Gravy
There was no indication on label and little in description to let consumer know this was not a pate or ground type of cat food. My accommodating cat ate it anyway but tired of all the chewing involves by half done. The "in Gravy" was liquid like au jus not a thickened gravy as expected. I bought it only because I could not get the regular cat food case unless I spent $40 for it which it had increased to in one month from $15 and then I would have had to wait a month for delivery. This was OK and fine for Cat's who like a chunkier food but I would not buy this again for my cat who prefers a pate mixed with smaller chopped pieces and a thickened gravy.

This actually looks like shreds of chicken
The shreds are small so I don’t have to cut them up in smaller pieces in order for my older cats to have an easy time eating all of the bits. This is one of the gravy style chicken flavors they really like & always lick up every bit of the gravy.

A hit and a miss
Unfortunately this didn't go over big with any of my cats...and but they did eat some of it (and I have four different ages 17, 7, and two that are 4). I thought it would be a big hit but it was a hit and miss... It smelled good, looked great, the price was right and you get a lot in those small cans

REAL CHICKEN AND LOTS OF VITAMINS
Well all I can say is our rescued cats love it, and they are extremely finicky. This is the first cat food out of I don’t know how many brands we have bought that they actually gobbled up and cleaned their plates. They used to eat the classic Fancy Feast, but I think they got burnt out on it, and I can hit myself in the head for not trying the Fancy Feast Gourmet in the first place. I trust the Fancy Feast name and this food seems very nutritious with real chicken and lots of vitamins and minerals. It actually looks and smells like chicken so that says a lot. It is an in between priced food. More than the cheap cat food but less expensive than the host of higher end products on the market today, so I would say it’s a good value for the money spent. I would definitely recommend it, but just because our cats love it doesn’t mean your cat/cats will. We all have different tastes, be it humans or cats.
