The book is very well organized and explains basics of robotics to even elementary school students. It introduces various components of Lego and EV3 Mindstorms in its initial chapters and gradually focus on some of the more complex problems faced in FLL. The book has plenty of pictures which are a great help in understanding robot design and programming. Various exercises provided at the end of each chapter helps students master the material. The edition that I bought did not have page numbers.

Brought this book for my son and found it very useful. It’s a great book for kids/ students who are interested in robotics specially FLL Very well organized and it covers details about elements of robotic architecture, and robot design. My son loves to learn and experiment with his robot design and this book helps him to get basic details and explore more. Books covers details explanation of programming elements, flow, structure and sensors. It has lots of pictures/ figures with explanations which makes it more useful.I will recommend this for kids/ students who love robotics and want to explore / learn more. Overall nice Book !!

I have been looking for a resource like this and great to finally see a book that addresses many of the questions kids have while building a Lego Robot.

We purchased this one as well as the Winning Design book. My son preferred this book as it was more his style of robot and he liked the tips and approach. Both are good resources, but this is his go to resource for new tips and tricks that he shares with his lego team. My son has been participating in lego robotics for 3 years now, starting in 4th grade. Our program is not as advanced or sophisticated as other schools, so this helped to "level the playing field" with others and will help him and his team maximize their design. Good luck with your lego build!

My daughter and her friends started learning robotics three months back and this book provides the right level of detail to them. Apart from really useful inputs to help during First Lego League the reader can get very clear, detailed, step-by-step understanding of a) Common problems b) Options available c) How to chose the best option? The explanation of what, how and why on robotics design is the key highlight of this book. Great work.

A really good guide for beginners and more accomplished robotics lovers! Rajeev is a very committed instructor who makes robotics interesting for kids and my son enjoys his class a lot; this book has helped to further my son's interest in this field as the text and illustrations are easy to follow. Definitely an investment worth making if you are interested in robotics.

I found this book very useful for FLL participants. It has very detailed instructions on how to use certain EV3 parts and provides very clear guidelines. My son, who is ten, finds it very easy to understand and read. I strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to participate in FLL. It will speed up your learning process.

Great book... Written by an engineer and not proof read for sure. Helpful, worth the purchase.

El libro es bueno y esta bien organizado en secciones temáticas. Pare empezar da un montón de información útil. Es una pena que los gráficos sean en blanco y negro ya que se pierde información tanto de los montajes como de la programación.

Very good book to introduce intolerance the FLL

A great resource for FLLers and robotics enthusiasts. The programming was very useful and comprehensive. The only thing that may have helped is a section on building instructions for useful attachments.
