Worked like it was advertised. Bit on the higher price side but it ran our pump to blow up some floats now that I don't have a cigarette lighter in my vehicle.

Mainly purchased this for a low-powered use case: To charge my dash cam battery packs (the BlackboxMyCar BI-750 and the Blackvue B-124X). This power inverter works perfectly fine for this purpose. I keep it sitting in one place, and I only plug it in when I need to use it. I do these things to try to prolong its lifetime. I find the brick does get strangely warm if it just sits plugged into an outlet by itself with no load. It also does spark a little when plugged in, which is supposedly safe and normal according to some searching I've done online.I mainly picked this over other similar power inverters, because it seemed better engineered. I received this the middle of Jan 2021 and have used it every day since then (so only about ~20 days for a couple hours at most since the time of my writing this review) and haven't encountered any significant issues thus far, but I'll update this review if that ever changes.Update (25 Feb 2022): Still using this daily to charge my dash cam battery packs (the same BI-750 and B-124X packs) with no issues. I also ended up ordering another of these converters for travel usage. I realized after ordering this second converter that this product's description says "Attention! Not designed or intended to charge batteries." However, I haven't had any problems with my use case, and BlackboxMyCar sells a similar power inverter (BlackboxMyCar Power Inverter), so I'll keep on. I'll just use it only to charge my dashcam batteries.

I kept buying different plug ins and converters so I could actually use my portable cigarette lighter tire compressor at home for my Mazda cx30 since the 2025 models don't have cigarette lighter plugs in anymore and only 2 usb-c and that's not powerful enough to power it with any converter. This thing powers my tire converter and was able to finally get all my tires to the recommended psi. 5 stars all the way! Heavy duty and has a ground as well. Thrilled!

this is heavy duty. good price for quality. this is not a lightweight, low amperage item. would recommend

2026 work box truck models are not coming equipped with the normal car outlet. Had to get this so that he could charge his receipt printer. The only charger that worked correctly was the one for the car. Bought a second one for the house on the days he doesn’t work.
