CORSAIR AX Series, AX1000, 1000 Watt, 80+ Titanium Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply

PSU arrives protected in large box with a lot of protection. Plenty of modular cables which come with clearly labelled bag The cables are not very flexible.The CPU 8 pin and CPU "4 pin" could have been a little longer but It worked.The unit has very clear labels so connecting the correct cables was easy. There are different color name plates so you can match with your case colors and the ability to flip the plate If you install your PSU fan downside like I did... a nice touch. I went with the grey background to match the MB MSI Pro Carbon and the Gun metal Cooler master case.Needless to say the PSU fan never spins so very quiet; PSU powers 2 SSDs, i7-9700k, MSI z390 MB, MSI 2060 Super X GPU, 16 GB Tough Ram by TT.

I bought this power supply to replace a AX860i platinum rated power supply that I had been using for the past two years. Initially I wasn't sure what exactly wrong with my PC I suspected it was either the PSU or the Motherboard. I decided to try the jump method for the power supply to see if it powered on which it did not. So I promptly bought a power supply on Amazon which was this power supply it being a 1000 watt titanium. Plugged it in and boom my computer booted like nothing was ever wrong. I will say this that AX860i only lasting a little over a year and half is a bit of a let down because my previous corsair power supply is still going strong in an older pc and its been in use for the last 5 years. Im hoping Corsairs quality stay true with this power supply and that 860i was just a fluke.

their QC is trash ~i never had any parts issue, unless it was made from consair. unless u want to go through the nightmare process of replacement ~avoid them at all cost. i spent extra to avoid issues, and this "titanium" grade product failed on me in less than 3 months ~writing 9 months later cuz i really don't want to go through this hassle of getting it replaced. They were known for HORRID QC process and now i know better than to ever trust them ever again (in the past i had heat sink issues w/consair)

Great quality supply works amazing. It’s almost a year now and never had an issue with it.

Item arrived within two days. The unboxing experience was very nice and I gotta give it to Corsair for their presentation. Installation went without hassles as well. Everything is labeled for their purpose and all cables come in this very convenient pouch. Was confused at first about the EPS cable but then realized it was able to split into two 4 pin plugs. Quality of the plugs seems to be quite sturdy as well. In operation this thing is quiet, I don't hear it at all.

Be working like a champ in my new computer build. Wont have any power problems!

Wonderful power supply with lots of potential.

Small pieces of solder fell out of the power supply when being installed. Power Supply did not function when installed. I bought a different one and everything powered up fine.

I run a Ryzen 5800x and RTX 3070 and I don't think I've heard the PSU fan come on once, and if it has, well.. I haven't heard it. Major plus there. Power delivery is obviously spot on. It's totally overkill for my needs but I'd rather have the stability and not stress the equipment than have something else making noise and pumping out heat.The cables are horrid. NOBODY jumpers GPU cables unless they're running cheap low power GPUs, so why would they even be a thought process for an ultra elite PSU like this. It should come bundled with every GPU cable being 8 to 8, none of the jumpered nonsense.Also the mobo cable is so stiff I feel like I almost broke off the mobo connector trying to bend it into place. Highly un-necessary. Could have gone with a smaller guage wire, or at the very least just individually sleeved cables with spacers instead of the thick rubber bike tire sleeving.It was very difficult to install in a mid-tower case because of the cables. Corsair should be catering to high end enthusiast gamers with this PSU and providing cables that look good, and are easy to work with.

I disliked the huge rubber thing covering the cable on the end that plugs into the motherboard. Because of that. I couldn't cable manage through the slot I wanted to.

However, there is a hard rubber part near the connector which is hard to bend.So it will take some efforts for cable management.
