The BEST probiotic out there for cats and dogs! Tasteless, never had anyone not eat their food because it was in it. Very affordable price for the amount you get and it's hypoallergenic! Purina probiotic has animal digest, and that isn't hypoallergenic! This is the only one I could find without animal based ingredients for my cats with IBD, that they would actually eat! I give this to my cats and fosters, and my dog! Always recommend it to others!

My cat could not handle this product...diarrhea and vomiting. I read elsewhere that issues with the pancreas might have been the reason. After writing to the company, they refunded me promptly. For this reason I am giving a 5-star rating.

Miracle in less than 36 hrs! I have 3 cats and have struggled to find a balance between food that gives one (or all) of them diarrhea and food they like. I finally found "Natural Balance low calorie". No diarrhea in over a year and they love it. However, one of my cats started vomiting intermittently. At 1st I thought it was hairballs, but the vomiting became worse over the last several weeks to where he was vomiting nightly and more violently. He never went off his food, he still ate and drank normally, played normally, nothing else changed except for him throwing up a huge amount of food in the middle of the night. Often it was all over their carpeted cat tower or our sofa (lovely). My vet suggested changing their food, but I had been down that road and didn't want to risk the whole diarrhea in all 3 cats again! I was at my wits end and just felt awful for him. I turned to Google and stumbled upon an article about the lack of Enzymes in cooked/baked cat food. Not that the food is bad, but the mere process of cooking/baking protein into dry food kills off enzymes etc. that cats need in their diet. AHA! So, off to Amazon I went, looked at reviews for several different brands and decided on Naturvet based on the many positive reviews. It arrived within 36 hrs (Amazon, I love you!) and I put it in their food that night. The 1st night I mixed it into a little wet food, thinking that they might not like the taste. Honestly I don't think they had a chance to smell it, they gobbled it up so fast (I don't feed them wet food every day, so it's still a treat for them), plus I added the powder to their standing dish of dry food. I thought for sure they'd hesitate because the white powder stands out when sprinkled on the dry food, but nope, didn't bother them at all. The next day Sir Lawrence did throw up once, but it did seem a little less. My husband said: "See, it didn't work! You always believe everything you read, and spend money on it but it never works!". So, that was about 18 hrs after starting them on the powder. In effect Day 1. Day 2: Same routine. But this time I only sprinkled the powder on their dry food. Night 2: No vomit! Day 3: Same Night 3: NO VOMIT! We are now on Day/Night 4 of NO FREAKING VOMIT ANYWHERE!!!! THANK YOU NATURVET, not only are my cats happy but I am vindicated!!!!!
