Forespar MareLube TEF45 Max PTFE Heavy Load Lubricant - 4 oz.

This product is very similar to Lanocote, except it's made with teflon instead of lanolin. It's similar to teflon thread tape, except it is a paste. It creates a barrier between the metals so they never touch, which prevents corrosion and prevents metals from seizing together. It's perfect for applications where two different metals touch, such as stainless steel screws holding down an aluminum part. I also use it with wood screws in wood. The barrier coating around the screw prevents metal leach into the wood and even potential rot. Definitely a must have in your workshop.

Great product to prevent galvanic corrosion. I use this on aluminium to steel parts that are exposed to salt water. Works well!

Less expensive than tough. Gel works just as well. Very tenacious thick and taste like.

This seems to be a great alternative to the high priced name brand product. Time will tell if it’s as good but what I’ve seen over the last few months of use are positive.

This stuff is fantastic. Best lubricant for salt-water environment.
