Village Candle Orange Cinnamon Large Glass Apothecary Jar Scented Candle, 21.25 oz, 21 Ounce

I love these village candles! They are more of the classical scents that you really can’t find anywhere else. The size is a typical large jar size, the candle burn time lasts for so long. I burn this constantly since the end of oct and it’s still going. Amazing quality of a candle and scent especially for the price!

First, let me say that I resent having to spend over $20 for any candle, but I love having them in my home. That being said, I will gladly pay $20+ for Village Candles from this day forward... In November, I moved into a new apartment, and treated myself to a large Cinnamon-scented Yankee candle. What a disappointment! First, there is almost no aroma when burning the candle; second, the single wick results in a deep pit that fills up with melted wax and extinguishes the flame. Ugh! Last week, I began searching for another candle, and came across the Village brand. A couple of other customers mentioned their frustration with Yankee candles, and recommended Village. Reluctant but hopeful, I ordered the Orange Cinnamon. When I opened the candle, I was uncertain about the scent. It smelled a lot like Pumpkin Spice, which I dislike significantly. Thankfully, that's not the case once lit. I wouldn't describe the scent as particularly citrus or cinnamon, but it is a light spice fragrance. It's definitely not cloying or overwhelming. Even more encouraging, the double-wick allows for even burning! I am a fan, and will try other Village scents.

These candles smell great and are so much cheaper than Yankee candles, whose quality has gone downhill in the past.

This candle has 2 wicks and burns evenly if you know how to burn candles properly. You have to to let the 1st burn form a melted even later before snuffing out because candle wax has a memory. This scent claims orange spice but it's not a strong orange but a sweetish citrus background soft with a lovely warm spicy scent that lingers in a room. I find it nicely balanced for my taste and I love spices. More of a warm fall scent or even Christmas than a light summer citrus scent. I burn them for long ours at a time and they hold up but the wicks could be of a tad better quality. After 2 to 4 hours the pool of wax overwhelms the wick and I need to blow out due to diminishing flames. I like Yankee wicks better but there cost is outrageous these days so value for the burn time and fragrance is very much worth the money for this candle. I am happy with purchase.

This Candle has a combination of Orange,Cinnamon, Cloves & Mandarin. Burning this Candle my House smelled like fall in no time. It's a size that you can almost put it anywhere in the house. The glass jar it comes in is sturdy & looks nice. I had it Burning most of the day & it did not burn down very much.

You can’t really go wrong with a Yankee candle!!! This scent is magnificent, in my opinion. I don’t usually like a lot of the scents in candles these days, but this is very nice. I like that I really smell the orange! Would make a lovely gift! Nice housewarming gift or to have lit in a home you are trying to sell! 😉

After much frustration looking for a good candle, a friend gave me a Cinnamon candle made by Village Candle. Village Candle soon became my benchmark for candles, and after five Village Candles, I can easily endorse and recommend these candles. Here's why... 1- Each candle had a nice room filling scent. You walk in and now smell nice pine, fir, cinnamon or whatever candle you're burning! 2- Clean burning! At no time did I get a repugnant black smoke. Candles lit and burned clean. 3- No Maintenance! I tried other candles and their burn would burrow down and leave a build up along the insides of the glass. These Village Candles made a nice puddle and burned ALL the wax, not leaving a side wall build up at all. (See my pict). The Village Candles wicks burned clean and evenly too! 4- FRAGRANCE FRAGRANCE FRAGRANCE! So far, EVERY VILLAGE CANDLE is a nice room filling experience. Not over powering but achieving my ultimate purpose for having candles... To cover over the dog scent! These candles do just that; cover over the dog scent. I just tried two other cheaper candles at half the price of Village Candles and they are going back! So this really is a "Get what you pay for thingy!" I should mention, I'm not getting paid or any compensation for this or other reviews. Just giving an honest appraisal.

This is the wrist smelling candle I’ve ever smelled. I lit it in my front room and carried on with my business. When I came back into the room the smell was so overwhelming that I instantly put the cable out after only five minutes. When my guests arrived an hour later, they all individually commented on how horrible the smell was. All sixteen people noticed it and mentioned it. I couldn’t get rid of the odor. You’d think orange and cinnamon would smell delightful but this candle is nothing but overwhelming burnt cinnamon scent. No orange detected at all, only burned smelling cinnamon.. three people asked if I had burned a pie.. that’s how bad it was. It’s been 24 hours and half a can of Lysol and open windows later and it’s still all I can smell inside the entire house. ANYONE WHO SAYS THIS CANDLE SMELLS GOOD IS LYING!!!!

I might even say it’s better in terns if lasting power the Yankee. Burns all the way though - barely any leg over wax. Smell intensity 7.5/10 but it might be the scent I picked - i remember others being more intense.

It smells nice but mine came all melted and all horizontal. I can fix it of course but that’s a bit disappointing for this amount of money

Kann ich nur empfehlen,riecht genau wie beschrieben Orange und Zimt.Leider nicht immer zu bekommen einfach nur perfekt.

Absolutely love this scent. Good throw. Have already ordered another one, this is in my favourites list now.
