This product has neither problem. Whereas the dimmest setting on most of the others that I have tried has been about 10% of full brightness, these seem to go all the way down to ~1%. Indeed, using my Lutron Caseta dimmer (with which they seem to be completely compatible) I can set the brightness in one percent increments, and see a difference between 1% and 2%. This makes a huge difference when it comes to having gentle mood lighting.The installation clips took a little getting used to (you just have to rotate it counter-clockwise once pushed in), but were effective. The brightness response is also a little odd: setting the dimmer to 20% is not much brighter than at 10%, similarly 30% is not much brighter than 20%. However 40% is enormously brighter than 30%, same with the transition from 40% to 50% and from 50% to 60%, before the step in brightness diminishes again as you go through the remaining 10% increments. I was expecting a linear response but it's more like an S-curve. This isn't a problem for me as I'll likely keep them at 30% or lower, but was odd to see.At 100% brightness these lights are very bright indeed - I have a hard time believing they're only a 65W equivalent as they seem to be more like double that, but that's just my subjective impression. They're rated at 2700K and seem to match the 2700K bulbs I have in the next room almost perfectly. For $6.50/light these are a steal - I'd happily have paid 2-3x that for this close to perfect product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome LED lights at an affordable price. Look no further. *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2017* Ok I can make this review a novel but I won’t but let me just say this. These are the best LED lights on Amazon at a reasonable price. I don’t write reviews for things which I should because I use reviews religiously to pick products but these lights were so great I had to. Let me make this as brief as possible, I have bought 8 different LED lights to see which might work with my newer model digital dimmers and these lights ended up being the perfect lights that fit my needs and checked off every single item on my wish list. First I bought 70 Sunoco lights but those stayed on ever so slightly (I only noticed at night) even when turned off when used with the digital dimmers so I had to uninstall all 70 of them and send them back. (Thank you Amazon for accepting my return) next I went out and bought a few at the depot and Lowe’s but those were more than double the cost of the Sunco lights and with having retrofitted all the lights in my new home I was trying hard to be budget minded so I ordered singles of 7 different LED down lights that were reasonably priced and had good reviews. Long story short out of all 8 of the lights I tried these were the only ones that worked absolutely perfectly. The spring that are used to mount them which I thought at first might be an issue were actually the best way to install them once I learned how to do it and got the hang of it. ( open the metal prongs so they are outstretched before placing it in the housing and then spin them to lock them tightly in place) I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the quality, fit and finish and look of the lights and the fact they dim all the way from just 5% up to 100% is really awesome. These are the perfect lights look no further. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect (and silent) LED lights! *by R***C on Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2020* I am really impressed with these little LED lights! I have tried several combinations of various lights and dimmers in order to eliminate the dreaded LED hum, and these are the first I came across that actually achieves this! These lights are completely silent (using the Lutron Diva CL 153), to my great surprise, just as the manufacturer states. In addition, they dim all the way down to zero, unlike the Helo and the different brands I've tried before, so that's a huge added bonus.The only negative is that the outer rim is not quite wide enough to cover the rim of the housing, or slight imperfections in the way the hole was cut through the drywall, if you use a rim-less housing. In other words, unless you use a rim-less housing and have perfectly sized holes, the LED light bezel will leave some of it exposed. If it would be just a few more millimetres wider, this light would be perfect!
