Excellent product, I found using sponge brush with 3 applications whilst wet was better than allowing each coat to dry. Th colour was richer and used a liquid beeswax as opposed to hard wax. Wood type was Beech ply.

This dye is a really bright and deep colour. I am using it to enhance a light shaded mahogany used on a scale model boat, and I am pleased with the results. The reason for 4 stars is not a reflection of the quality of this product or of the suppliers/manufacturers but of the very small area I covered. I cannot comment on how good this product on large areas - but for me I am more than satisfied with the quality and delivery. Recommended.

I applied the stain with a foam brush and got good coverage in two coats. Looks great under polyurethane varnish. As an aside, the bottle is good quality and gives confidence that it won't leak (unlike some others I've had).

Really good producy, blends nice (starts drying pretty quick) and gives really good colour. I've tried using it allowing layers to dry between each aplication and without and for me better, more rich colour is achieved with drying between layers (only used on oak though). It barely has any smell which makes it perfect for me to use at home. Would recommend.

Good purchase have lots left over that I can make good use of on other items. Covered stair banister to look like new again really pleased with the end result.

Really nice quality stain. I used this to stain the handle of a cheap no-brand Japanese chef's knife to match another type of knife (a Takamura with rosewood handle). The seller very helpfully included the Dark Red Magohany stain with my order, which was a good match with the colour I wanted. I prepared the wood with a light sanding with 400 grit paper, then brushed on several coats of stain (about 5) with an hour between each coat. I then lightly sanded at 600 grit and added a couple more coats. Then I applied two coats Ronseal clear gloss varnish, sanded, then one more coat of varnish and it looks great.

Habe damit billigstes Palettenholz behandelt. Sieht einfach nur großartig aus!

This is so great! Just a lil bit goes a long ways. Dried really quick. And it's easy to use!

So I needed a really good mahogany die, that looks true. Usually, die look fake or cheap, or both together. I bought many brands and they were all failures. Not this one! I used it on hardwood plywood and it is simply gorgeous. Now tips I found hard way (because I found no good YouTube tutorial, LOL): - Don't go across the grain. ALWAYS along the grain. - Rug technique will end up with much better wood structure, but also bombastically overlyexpose tiniest scratches you even though they do exist. Therefore you have to sand it up to 240 ir even more, 120 is still too rough. - Don't use disposable foam brushes. Just bloody don't. - Use high quality brushes along the grain. They will make the color very intense, but also will hide almost all scratches, if not all. - On pine without conditioner it is totally unpredictable and you almost certain will ruin your project. Well, OK, you will just ruin it for sure. So use prehdie conditioner. But this is not the case on hard woods: beech, oak... — making the surface a bit wet with the water is enough. Hope it helps!
