I didn't grow up with Brambly Hedge, but I ran into some of Jill Barklem's illustrations and immediately fell in love! I sometimes turn to children's books for comfort, and I knew I had to pick up this one. The illustrations are all as beautiful as I expected, and the stories are so fun and sweet. I'm so happy to be adding it to my personal library.

American children only know of Beatrix Potter peter rabbit but not know these characters with you’re just as wonderful. I highly recommend adding these to your children’s library. The stories are so sweet. The pop-up books are well-made lots of color lots of detail. Children love them!
