Can anyone recommend the type of pump (end) you would need to pump the ball up?

Normal 'NEEDLE' type does the job..don't pump it up very much (I did and got told off by 'she who must be obeyed,'!)

Around 25cm but you can make it squishier

Does it say Zhiye on the side of the pink ball ?

It says it on the side of the blue ball, which is what I have.

You do not get as I did not get one at all ! And the straw to use to inflate the ball is a joke and USELESS ! I did not returned because is too big trouble.
