    Good way to do a lot of Micro questions if it's your weak subject.

I had a hard time studying for  Step 1. I found this book helpful in allowing me to go over questions that were focused on microbiology itself. The book is organized into sections based on different bugs/fungi so you can work on particular subjects that you are weak in. Also the explanations provided are helpful. The book is good for helping to verify if you are actually grasping what you are learning. I would recommend the book if you have the extra time to spend on Micro. It would be best to work through it over an extended period of time. It is not useful for cramming.

Fit medical students taking NBME during basic science years, this series(for other subjects as well) is the greatest prep you can ask for. There are some typos in this book, and occasionally (VERY FEw) questions were somewhat unclear. But, a must have for NBME prep
